Rafael and his team did a great job painting the back of our house in March, and some interiors and doors as well. When they encountered dry rot (and it was unfortunately widespread--out here in the Ingleside, we have to paint more frequently), they pointed it out, including up on the roof, updated the invoice, and fixed it. The place looks immeasurably better and is in much better shape. Rafael was great at communicating throughout and flexible, taking the time needed to get the work done right; he worked to ensure that the crew were neat; and when the crew missed something, he followed up to ensure it was fixed. Rafael's team did a spectacular job scraping, repairing, finishing and painting our house. For context, this is an old house from 1906 that has had numerous layers of paint applied to it so I cannot stress enough how difficult this job was. RS painted our house this fall (2025). Rafael is the consummate professional. He showed up on time, was quick with a written estimate, and set up the permits for scaffolding and port-a-pot. We had to delay a month after the deposit due to a business trip, but Rafael accommodated us and was back on schedule immediately. The work was done on time and within the estimate, except for added repairs for hidden rot on fascia. (110 year old Victorian that hadn't been painted in probably 25 years, so not unexpected.) The crew was on time, professional, and very respectful of our property and privacy. We had to a few additions during the process and they rolled with the changes. (They hand-scraped and prepped, no pressure washer, which is a nice plus for both us and our neighbors.) Also, the house has a some gingerbread and multi-color trim and the painters did an excellent job cutting everything in. Clean-up was perfect. Our HOA also asked for references and we reached out to Rafael's references and that reassured our HOA we're hiring the right painters. After we signed with RS Professional Painting, the scaffolding was setup, they began scraping the old paint, repairing wood rot siding, and spray painting with primer and then painted the final colors. Rafael and his team made sure all the details were touched up and we're completely satisfied with the results. All the owners are happy with the results of their work and I would recommend their services. The only suggestions is letting the HOA/residence know of when they need the windows and doors unlocked earlier. But Rafael and his team worked with the resident's schedules to get everything painted.
