So, I'm actually legitimately concerned based on my experience with this office. First of all, I…read morecalled (and called back) five different times (each time being told that my daughter would be accepted as a patient and I would be called back) before anyone got back to me. Once I was left on hold for 10 minutes and no one ever came back. This all had gone on for over two weeks. On my 4th call, the secretary said "what's the number where I can call you back" and I said to her, in a very nice and calm tone: "I just want to let you know, this is the fourth time I've called this office, and no one has yet given me a call back." There was a long silence, and then she said "what's the number where I can call you back?" I said, "but I just need to know that you will actually call me back." She said "what's the number where I can call you back." Like a pissed off robot--no apologies, no concern for the fact I had been chasing this office down for coming on three weeks. So I gave her the number and said please call me back. And...she didn't. I believe this was Dana. Three days later I call the office again. Now I'm upset. I explained what had happened so far. I said I wanted to speak to the office manager, sandy, who wasn't in. The secretary I was speaking to asked if she could help--this was Christina. She was really nice and apologetic and gave me an appointment the same day (she did call back.) So our appointment is supposed to be today. Our baby was sick. Yesterday I get a voicemail saying Dr. Martocci has Covid, and is cancelling all patients today and rescheduling for next week. Alright, nothing you can do about that. But then I get a call this morning, again from Dana, asking me if I can come in this morning. I said "I thought the doctor had Covid, isn't that why our appointment was cancelled?" Long silence. I'm put on hold. She comes back and says "the doctor is feeling better. He's leaving early today. He's still seeing patients in the morning." I said "how can he be seeing patients if he has Covid?" She said, "if you're more comfortable, you can reschedule for next week." Umm, what? I said "I don't understand, is the doctor contagious?" She said "no." Long pause. I said I would call back. Five minutes later, after talking to my partner, I'm immediately put on hold and no one comes back. I call again, it says the office is closed. I call a third time, it says the office is closed. Now I'm wondering if they're purposely not answering MY calls. My partner calls from his cell phone, Dana picks up in one ring. I am honestly so infuriated and upset I am in tears. Hoping to finally speak to the manager to explain what my experience has been. I just hope someone cares because this is not okay. This might be the best pediatrician in the world, but who can deal with being treated this way? Now it's been over a month of this, and my daughter still hasn't been seen for her four month visit. Also, anyone who knows me knows I am a really calm and polite person, very gentle and patient. I can't understand why I'm being treated this way, or if this is standard for parents at this office.

Dr. Gregory Martocci has been my son's pediatrician since he was 3 years old. I was taking him to a…read moremore prestigious pediatric group but I finally got fed up with the practice telling me how to take of my son. Dr. Martocci always gives his advice but allows parents to decide how to take care of their children. For example he tells me what shots are due but allows me to decide what shots will be given or I can decide not to get shots at all. My son would always get a high fever whenever he received a shot. I told Dr. Martocci my concern about a booster for the MMR. He suggested to have a titers test done to check and see if my son had enough of the MMR antibodies. My son indeed had enough antibodies and so he never needs to have another MMR shot again! Dr. Martocci supports our family and appreciates that we try to eat organic as much as possible. He never forces his opinion on us. He provides treatment options and allows us to decide how to treat our children. I highly recommend this practice to anyone with children.

This is a professional pediatric dermatology office. The receptionists are thorough and they get you in and OUT. This was the fastest doctor's visit I've been to. I love that about Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Kristal was kind, detailed, sharp and has a great way with children. My daughter came in for a small wart under her nose. He went right to work completing a freezing treatment within minutes. Painless and under 10 minutes. I highly recommend Dr.Kristal. The parking lot can be a nightmare at 2100. Valet if you can.

Dr. Raber explains everything clearly and makes you feel comfortable and confident in his care. A few years ago, I noticed changes in my balance and gait. After visiting several other doctors with no answers, Dr. Raber suggested I might have had a mild stroke and ordered a CT scan. The results confirmed exactly that -- a mild stroke in the cerebellar region. His insight and thoroughness made all the difference. My daughter came away upset, scared of her own body and sad. [11/16/22] Teen daughter said she'd give Dr. Yu another try (maybe she had a bad day). Second visit ended with her crying in the exam room and for a good 15 minutes after. Dr. Yu was condescending, rude, and Mean. When my daughter asked her to explain, Dr. Yu told her that she would not understand. Dr. Yu did not explain what she was doing at any point, just did things without informing her. When my daughter told her that she had questions and concerns, Dr. Yu was downright mean and said that she was still talking - WHILE WALKING OUT THE DOOR. Dr. Yu also complained that my daughter's bladder was too big and told her not to drink water 4-hours before bed. Every other doctor she has tells her to drink more water. I got a retired ob/gyn on the phone after and he said to ignore those instructions.

I must also give a big shout out to his entire staff from the girls at the desk to the girls who work with him. They are always very friendly and are there to help you in any manner. Even though it was over a year , they remembered me as if I just was there. In a time when people are quick to complain, I would like to give Dr. Kenny and his entire office a great big thank you from a very happy and satisfied patient.

Dr. Reischer has been our pediatrician since our son was born a couple of months ago. I think Kristin L. put it best as he's not "overly jovial, but not a curmudegon" doctor either. He may not be everyone's cup of tea but think he's really great. He is really professional and really cares about his patients. Our kid had his first shots last week and Dr. Reischer explained each one of the vaccines he was getting, showed us the bottles, and their expiration dates. My wife and I really appreciated that. He was also very fast with all three shots! The wait times can be long as we kind of experienced last week but when you're popular, you're popular. Receptionist (Maria) is great too!

He's always patient and, except for rare busy stretches, always available other than Sabbath. Even in off hours, he provides his pager number for emergencies. Note that he is pretty old school, so some of his methods may not be what you read about in the latest baby books. But this is a doctor who has probably treated a whole public school's worth of children, so while you may not agree and may sometimes deviate from what he recommends, you know you are getting at least solid advice. He's always wears a baseball cap! His receptionists are super friendly and I always have had good experiences. Appointments are easy to make and wait times tend not to be too long. My one wish is that he would (1) hire a nurse to do the needles as my baby now associates him with needles and cries whenever he comes in and (2) he'd have a separate aware for sick kids and kids going in for wellness checks. I also wish the facilities can be nicer, but hey, it's Forest Hills. One tip is that if he is not available for whatever reason and you have urgent needs, I would supplement with the Forest Hills Urgent Care center that is nearby. Dr. Reischer is a sole practitioner so this will happen from time to time.
