For reference, I am the President of the BOD for a local condominium Association. After positive past dealings with H&Y I referred them to a member unit-owner to replace a wood courtyard enclosure with vinyl. They were prompt with their estimate and were selected out of three companies by the homeowner to perform the job. The job was completed but needed to be lowered slightly to match the height of others in the Association. Despite a delay caused by the hurricane, Jerry, the owner, saw to it that the adjustment was made to our specifications. Given the relative insignificance of this re-visit in comparison to the volume of fence work a hurricane can produce, H&Y kept their commitment and for that the homeowner and I were thoroughly impressed. It is not often these days that we witness this kind of integrity in business dealings so when we do we must recognize it. At the 7 week mark, I was curious because no one had called me with an update on my order. They said they would call in a couple of weeks once they had my install ready to schedule. Jason did call and schedule for the following week at 9am. There were some set-backs on install day, for I had been scheduled to be 9am and by 10am, no one had shown up or called. Having taken the morning off, I was upset when I ended up having to take the full day off and they didn't even arrive until after 2pm. The crew was very efficient, with Sergio heading the team. They worked for a couple of hours. Glad I was there, to review fence before they finalized or they would have installed the fence sloped to accommodate the yard. Fence should be even, dirt can be added to even the slope of the yard on the side of the house. The posts were corrected and fence install continued. Second day they came back and finished the job. Fence looks great and truly adds value to the house. I think the installation crew is top notch. The office staff really needs to improve on their communication skills with their customers. It's like they don't care about the customer but boy did they call right away to get paid. No one ever apologized for making me wait all day when I had been scheduled for a 9am install.

Some of my existing fence was in good condition so I opted to keep it. Luke gave me several quotes to close in my yard and replace the damaged sections(for both wood and vinyl). Called Fence Dynamics to repair my fence cap on a fence they put in 18 months ago. The quality of…read morethe materials was excellent. My salesman was top notch and the fence looked great upon completion. They installed a top cap that was way too short. It's only in the post about .25 of an inch! So of course a slight wind by Helene had it let go. A friends husband came and jury-rigged it to keep it from all blowing down. Called Fence Dynamis, they said they won't repair it cuz it's a liability issue! Wait! What! You installed it with what looks like a scrap piece so as not to cut another full section. They want me to go on their website. Order the piece and hire a handyman to try and repair it! Stay away from Fence Dynamics if you expect them to stand behind their work! It's really too bad because it's a quality product.

Installed 2 chain link fence gates. One was single gate only using existing poles. Other was…read moredouble gate which required at least one new pole. There was an existing pole and I said, "If you can use it fine, I'm not concerned about the bend, if it will work." Kayne said he thought he can straighten it. My concern was the concrete pad that was poured around the pole close to the edge. I relayed my concern to Kayne and told him he could cut it and install a new pole. He tried to straighten it, it didn't work, the pad broke out and he needed to repair it as well He cut the old pole down to size and created a mound of concrete around the pole and concrete pad to anchor it. The appearance was less than satisfactory, like a fire ant mound, but it was done and I let it go. Than the mound cracked and the gate is dragging, rather than swinging open I have to lift to open. He indicates its my fault for not installing a new pole. His solution was to weld up some brackets that I could pay him for and install myself? That is not why you hire some one with years of experience to work for you. They should stand by their work, not blame the homeowner for their "try and fail method" than charge for the fix. The gates where ok, but the rest not so much.
