This place makes you want to act like you're 5 stars: tip great, be nice, buy drinks, order pizza. This place deserves your attention. It's better than your phone. Bring your dog, you know you should. Sit at the bar. Buy shots , tip better. If this place disappears, everyone loses

    I had a great time!

Every neighborhood needs a Barbara's Pavillion; a gay dive bar that welcomes all, and all show up! You won't be dazzled by the hidden store front entrance, under whelming ambiance, or limited liquor selection, rather, the friendliness of the staff, and locals, and their fair drink prices. Known for great karaoke and spoken word on select nights of the month, Barbara's still operates as a private club, so be ready to scan your ID upon arrival. If your thing is sitting at the bar chatting up the bartender, a fun game of billiards, or a smoke with friends on the patio, you can do them all at Barbara's Pavilion. Maybe you'll see me there belting out a tune. Heads up, parking is tricky! Xoxo Lorenzo!

Fun and local gay bar. Always have a great time here. Karaoke to outside conversations, good place to meet ppl and the dive bar experience too. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Drinks are affordable than other gay bars

There's a good number of lockers for gear, booths for eating/drinking as well as pool tables and a small store featuring leather goods, t-shirts, and other merchandise. Although it's a leather bar I think most anyone would be comfortable here to toss back a beverage or three. There are Eagle bars in many major cities but this one is now a favorite. Highly recommended.

I remember the old Dallas Eagle on Inwood Road back in the 1990's. A great dive bar with all the charms of a Texas roadhouse with lots of men wearing painted on boot cut Wrangler jeans, cowboy boots, western hats as well as leather, uniforms. Friendly crowd that wants lots of man to man interactions drinking beer, whiskey, whooping & hollering. Only the infamous Trestle (R.I.P) could beat the Eagle back in the days of yore for the playfulness and camaraderie.   Well, Dallas Eagle has moved  farther south to a more secluded location more fit for a true roadhouse like in an El Paso Wreaking Company sort of way.  Huge building, that looks like strange, modern brutalist architecture with a faux western saloon façade, to accommodate a good crowd. Outdoor patio to smoke cigars which could be ideal for pups & their masters. Indoor long U shaped full service bar with multiscreen tv's. Draft beers, and they do have my favorite Texas Shiner Bock.  Obligatory pool table as well as a St. Andrew's cross for those into chamois deer skIn floggers, etc. Lockers to stow your gear although not sure if locks are provided. Leather Store. Amazing display cases featuring colors, memorabilia from various motorcycle, Bear, Leder organizations.  There are happy hours everyday except for Monday. Tuesday has all day discounted domestic beers & well drinks. Tons of special nights that cater to different segments of the Leather Community which you can look up on their website.  5 stars

Really good dancers there, but they are pretty patient with learners. Nothing negative about the experience! Lots of bars, so you can always get a drink pretty quickly. When you think Texas, while you may think line dancing and country bars, you rarely think of a gay country bar with line dancing! But it exists and is Round-Up Saloon! The bar is large, as are most things in Texas. While it seems like one big open space, there are separate areas from the dance floor to pool table area, more formal bar station and even a patio. There are six distinct bars throughout, each with their own vibe! This makes getting a drink easier and cuts down on the wait, which is very appreciated by all! We spent most of our time overlooking the dance floor. When we wanted a drink, we made our way to the small corner bar. We had a favorite bartender and this was their station for the night! Speaking of drinks, they are a bit pricey, including a water, but with that, they are certainly gay-bar strong! With the size of the place, it can and does get packed, so be prepared. There is enough space, but it gets intimate the later in the evening it gets. Overall, we had a phenomenal time at Round-Up Saloon. The most memorable part, which was amazing to see and feel, was the spirit of everyone just existing and being themselves. Absolutely one of my favorite gay bars I have visited!

It's very large being two stories with several rooms including the Rose Room Lounge which could almost be a separate club all by itself where they host all of their drag shows - lots of famous girls from RuPaul's drag race got their start there. There is a large outdoor deck upstairs as well as downstairs. Drinks are super cheap. This place is known as the "afties" bar because they are open until 4 AM though they will still stop serving alcohol at 2 AM The biggest downside is that they tend to charge a cover almost every night, which is pretty annoying, but I guess that's standard for Dallas. Definitely the best place to come dance if you're looking for pop music and some throwbacks

I have been to many restaurants and cocktail bars, and I have never paid 30.00 bucks for a cocktail. This is the most overpriced place on the strip. I mean, the games are fun, but the price is not worth it. The bartender called the manager, but the manager never came. The bartender said that, according to a coworker, they don't do refunds. I waited for a good hour, and a manager never showed up. This establishment gouges people.

However, I went there anyway, and immediately was treated very cordial for someone in sandals wearing lavender knee socks. I quickly found a chair and immediately was greeted by a very sweet person that I requested a draft beer and then set back to find the surroundings quite unassuming and comfortable. That's when I felt eyes on me and waited for a comment about my attire. I noticed a young lady staring straight across to me so I nodded and smiled, signaling her to speak. She said," You took my chair Thompson." Alarmed as I was I managed to say, " Oh sorry..." " No it's okay " she almost shouted, " But why did you take my sunglasses?" I was almost shocked but I told her my name wasn't Thompson and he must be the culprit with her property because when I sat here, there were no shades on the table. She gave me that ' I figured you'd say that look and looked quite upset when the waitress brought my drink. And refreshing it was as I paid and tipped her. My new friend looked in her hand and touted, "How much did he give you?" I wasn't sure what the waitress said but I am certain it was in my favor. Because the young lady looked confused and deceived by a sweet lady working for tips. I decided the protection from my ally might end quickly, so I downed my draft and got up to leave in hast. I heard something hit the floor and thankfully only I heard it. Because I looked down and it was a pair of Ray-Bans I accidently had sat on. I never looked back.
