This is a cool bar with some unique twists and turns. Came here randomly on a Sunday afternoon and they had some good music playing. Definitely a chill vibe here, suitable for millennials. There is lots of art work and picturesque areas. Rooftop and ground level outside area are nice additions to this venue. There is an operating elevator, or you can just use the stairs. I didn't drink in this occasion, as I was just stopping by. I like this place and will update my review once I get a better feel for Green light social . Spent the evening at the "Ruby Room". It's upstairs. Fantastic view of the Dallas skyline. There is a full bar and plenty of space chill. There is a large outdoor area (on roof) with plenty of seating. Bartenders stay busy but are quick to serve. Parking is valet $20 however there are other parking lots nearby. Good time. I like that it has the bar on the inside and then an outdoor dance floor area so even in the Texas heat you don't have to be directly in the sun if you don't want to be. This place is a very hip, cute rooftop spot with all the feels. We came in for the Family & friends even on 7/25 and it was a vibe. Drinks were on point. Service was outstanding. Views were amazing from the rooftop and love the greenery throughout. We even got a bonus firework show which was so much fun! Restrooms were very clean and that is always important to me. DO NOT GO HERE. Green Light Social in Dallas is an absolute scam. I went this past weekend with a couple of friends and bought one single vodka cranberry. That's it. And somehow, I wake up to a $75+ unauthorized charge on my card -- with zero explanation. Complete theft. And good luck trying to get a hold of anyone to dispute it -- the "contact number" they list is ONLY for booking a VIP section. How professional, right? They make it impossible to reach a manager, accounting, or even a basic customer service line. It's almost like they know they're scamming people and have made it impossible to get your money back. This isn't a mistake -- it's deliberate and disgusting. They are stealing from their customers for their own twisted benefit. If you want to get robbed blind after buying one drink, by all means, go here. Otherwise, stay far, far away. Absolutely pathetic excuse for a business. read more

This place is so much fun!! It's huge- and it has any type of vibe you would need for the night. Chill patio to sit and talk? Check. Huge dance floor with a live DJ spraying confetti everywhere? Check. Cute indoor lounge area with a less intense dance floor? Check. They also serve ranch waters in the topo chico bottles which always makes me happy There doesn't appear to be a strict dress code- I personally wore jeans and a tank but I saw people really dressed up as well. Fantastic place to spend some time when you're downtown. The rooftop sunset sessions are so much fun and the view is just incredible. Every employee we interacted with were friendly and professional, we loved the idea of the Capri sun and Topo Chico drinks for a cool twist on a normal drink. I love that they have different areas for shows, food, outdoor and the rooftop. The acts that are booked here are great, lots of variety and they pull in a large variety of people all enjoying the vibe. read more

Went out over the weekend with some friends, while on the dance floor where the main DJ was preforming, all of a sudden a bunch of ones were thrown on the crowd. Of course everyone in the crowd started picking up the ones and enjoying the evening. About ten minutes later a bottle girl comes over to our group and was yelling at us about the money we "stole" and how it was "pretty broke of us to take". I apologized and said we had no clue it was a huge thing and gave the two dollars back (such a crazy amount we had). She then threatened to have security check me since I "took more" (which was incorrect). I said gladly they could and I'd be happy to oblige. Don't come here unless you want overpriced drinks and terrible customer service from girls on a power trip. Ladies do NOT come here. Would give this place negative stars if I could. I got my entire purse swiped right off my shoulder in the middle of the dance floor on Saturday night. Before I even realized what had happened the thief disappeared into the crowd. Security and bartenders did not care or offer to help me at all. In fact, all I got was a security guard shining his flashlight in my face and yelling at me to get out of the walkway while I was pleading for help. Based on the reviews, this happens quite a lot. The staff and management clearly do not care about making their establishment safe. SO MUCH pickpocketing. Absolutely horrid. An absolute joke of a club that is a solid compilation of a shitty college bar and a late-night Dallas edm after party. Had a blast. Beautiful split level venue that offers scenic views, great cocktails and great vibes. Thursday night, there was a show on the downstairs level that was going harder than vegas lol. We were invited to the Ruby Room upstairs where we joined DJ Reesh for a more chill vibe and he was just as great as the DJ downstairs. Matt, an incredibly nice gentleman who I believe is one of the managers, welcomed me with an espresso martini that was perfectly crafted and aesthetically pleasing, just like everything else here. It almost felt like it was 3 different parties going on In one building which is rare, refreshing & pretty damn cool. The upstairs level has a balcony outside and then another on the inside that you access through a (soundproof maybe) glass door which I believe can be hidden by the opulent drapes.
