Barb's is open 7 days a week for Breakfast and Lunch only. She cooks everything fresh each day and never any can food. She has the best fried chicken around and not too greasy and always hot. Each day there is about 4 meats to choose from and it various each day and fried chicken is offer everyday. Barb's kitchen is a buffet restaurant but she does have a menu that you can order items from. She has about 6 vegetables to choose from too, I love her Marconi and cheese it's awesome and a must to eat. She has a salad bar also and it's always fresh. The breakfast is really great too . If your ever in the area or just driving through the area this is a must place to eat and you won't be disappointed. She also has a lot of pies, cakes and peach cobbler for dessert. read more

Found this little Easter egg on Easter Sunday just looking for a place to have a nice, not fast food lunch. Greeted the minute you enter by friendly Bernard, you're offered drinks and a table. The meals are served buffet style with some of the best southern cooking I've tasted. Not only are the fried chicken and pork chops cooked to perfection but the baked chicken was the best I've had in any restaurant. Then you savor every other Southern delight from greens, Lima's, mac n cheese to melt in your mouth dressing just to mention a few! There is a salad bar and a delicious array of Southern treats. Delicious banana pudding and cakes. OMG the buttermilk pie was perfection. Don't be swayed by the simple exterior of this place, because your mouth and stomach are in for a nice surprise.
