Came here spur of the moment on a Sunday night with some family and friends who were in town and had a great time! I first want to thank the security at the door because he was sure to enforce the rules of the establishment but he did so in such a kind manner. He wasn't aggressive or rude like most bar security workers are. This is already a rarity in itself. When you enter, the place is straightforward. Pretty small, not crowded, but there were maybe 20 of us there and each party had a comfortable amount of space for their group. There were maybe 8 different arcade games and a few pool tables, plus some TVs on two of the walls. The music is good (hip hop & rap), not too loud, and I believe there was a jukebox in case you had some special requests. What I loved most was the price point. I think I spent $13 for over 200 tokens, which allowed me to play at least 5 or 6 games. We especially had fun playing basketball and trying to reach the high score on the punching bag. This card is reloadable btw. Lastly, I only ordered a soda, but the bartender was so sweet and we had a great conversation about our love for Tokyo! I think this place is a simple good time. I would definitely go back!

Came for the free play tuesdays, walked in asked about the specials and is told about the $3 Jell-O shots and $10 frozen, which were 8 oz. Got two frozen and was asked to open or close the tab and I chose to close of course, not knowing that the free play was only valid with an open tab. 5 minutes later I was approached by the bar back that told us that we could get a free gameplay card from the bartender. When approaching the bartender about the free gameplay, this is when she then explained that the free gameplay is ONLY when you have an open tab, not when I was first ordering the drinks. NO WONDER THIS ESTABLISHMENT is empty besides the friends that they give discounted drinks and games to. It seems like a setup and a get rich scheme that's not working. Do better barcadia

I got ID'ed several times, I think they can tell I'm mormon. Anyway I liked these vibes too. Skeeball went crazy. Watched my friend's British boyfriend play it for the first time in his life.

Old school meets new school at Barcadia. From Gen Z, to Baby Boomers, all can be found having a great time, and lively conversations here. Definitely in need of a revamp, which I hear is coming soon, however it will maintain its original charm, with a few upscale perks. Although smaller than some other arcade spots in town the affordable games, food and cocktails along with live music on certain nights makes it an excellent option. If you're an outdoor person they offer seating for you as well. Dallas can be quite warm day or night, and you'll feel it, if they have the garage doors open to the patio, so dress accordingly. You'll enjoy the staff who go out of their way to make every guest feel at home. Parking can be tricky in the area if their lot is full. I'm sure my rating will go up after the remodel, however it's worth enjoying now. You just might run into me. XOXO LORENZO!

I recently visited here for a work Happy Hour event. This place has potential to be a fun kick back space, however I wouldn't lose sleep if I never returned. Pros: The appetizers we had were yummy (hummus, queso, chips and salsa, and pizza.. friend had wings). Also, all of the games were free, I'm not sure if that was the case because this was an organized event or if that's the usual. Cons: The service from the bartenders was TRASH. I asked one bartender what cocktail she'd recommend to drink and her response "whatever you want". I asked another bartender if there was a happy hour menu and her response "just what's on the menu" in a rude voice. I eventually settled for a margarita - the drink was disgusting and extremely small for the price, I received a 5oz drink for $14 (before tax and gratuity).

I decided to join some friends for tacos and tequila on a Tuesday plus they had karaoke going on! It was so much fun!! Plus they had arcade games to play and they were so also fun to play too!!! The tacos are tasty and cheap--$2.00 street tacos and regular ones are $4.50 so tasty plus lots of meat!

Amazing service with the best burger in town. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu Bartenders will literally make anything you want and won't be disappointed. Free game play on Wednesdays too. Favorite place to be at on Knox/Henderson.

Silly ole me asked if onion cups could be provided and the resturant obliged, thank-you! Now for the taste test. The shrimp and pork dumplings were well packed with the protein. They dressed it well in sauces too! As I placed my dumpling in the onion cup i can say the sharpness of the onion meshed well. The crunch also brought another level texture to a soft dumpling. Now this is usually done with soup dumplings but when I say its a trend it ended diverting from the original post. Regardless, the restaurantet let me be silly and I appreciated it! As for our pizza, not to sound like im a pizza critic but this was a good one. The slice held well the toppings were fresh, especially the basil! It was thin and airy. They do not have a brick oven in case you were wondering. It didn't matter to me. I enjoyed my pizza! The cocktails were spot on in liquor and flavor balance. It's a lunch spot with sandwiches and a glass of wine or a cocktail. It's the perfect place to work on your laptop or read a book, but also to take a casual date or your family for breakfast. They have a gluten free bread option (woohoo) and I've had both their avocado toast and the fried egg breakfast sandwich (with added avocado haha). Both are sooo good. The avocado toast comes with smoked salmon, which I do like, but I'm more of a basic avocado toast person. It also has a little pico de gallo and red pepper flakes! The breakfast sandwich is 2 over easy eggs, bacon, cheddar cheese, and tomato on sourdough (I subbed gluten free bread and added avocado) with a side of breakfast potatoes. It's a lot of food -- super filling and delicious. I also recommend their iced latte with whatever house-made syrup your prefer (usuals like caramel, vanilla, mocha, and then not-so-usuals like coconut pandan, lavender, brown sugar date, etc.). Word of mouth and Yelp have sang praises so we finally made it happen. The lead up is insane. Park under the building, take an elevator up, walk through the beautiful alcove and there it is - Sixty Vines. Swanky, dark, and sultry - a bit much for my taste, but I get the idea. Our waiter was nice, but could not get wine to our table. Like - acted as if there was some Harry Potter issue going on, just could not get wine to our table. And I know that's a lot to ask, but also shouldn't be, considering it's a wine bar. The place was dead - 5 PM on a Monday and he even prefaced by saying as much, and suggesting we try a few, but every time we'd order a glass, or heaven-forbid a flight, he'd disappear for literally a half hour. I get that people get busy, but wine at a wine bar just feels easy. We had the zucchini and the truffle fries - they genuinely banged. Zucchini could've used a little more love and care, but the fries were crazy. I could've eaten them all night. Had a few great wines too, but again, crazy how long it took to get to my table - and I could see the taps! No one was busy. Real Bummer. I told him several times to bring some red before my main so I could enjoy something dark with the red sauce, and low-and-be-freaking-hold, I finished my BRAISED PORK with a Sauvignon Blanc. Did I do something to offend? Was I being punished? IDK. The Braised Pork Pappardelle and the shrimp-garlic pasta thing was fine. The shrimp one being really garlicky - probably a bit too much. For some fu**a** reason, they both came to our table on the colder side, again, why? We literally had plans to go through a few reds and bubbles, but after two hours of this, we said "let's leave". So we paid and bounced. It's a fine place, I guess, it just really flopped for us. James T. put it nicely, "So middle of the road, absolutely and unmistakably average." Just hurts after months of this place being talked up, getting a baby sitter, driving an hour, and dropping $150 for this place to miss the mark. If service was better this could've been a 3-4 star review. Really makes a difference. I'll be at Hudson House & Barcelona Wine Bar if you need me. MGMT: Figure the service out - please. I'd be happy to try again, but I need to know my food will be hot and the wine will flow - again, it is a wine bar after all.
