This tour is outstanding. You will see much more of Barcelona in 3 hours with this tour than you could ever see on foot yourself, plus you get the all the info and history from the guide. We took this tour on May 31, 2017. Ben was our tour guide. We were traveling with family from Germany who had booked the tour so ours was in German, but Ben was also fluent in English and took the time to present everything in both languages. You get an instruction course and practice time on how to use the Segway (shaky for about 30 seconds, then it is really easy) and you must wear a helmet. While you could probably wear sandals or flip flops, I would recommend sturdier, closed-toe shoes. You are essentially standing for 3 hours, so plan accordingly. The tour starts at the Arc de Triomf and goes through the Citadel, to the Gaudi fountain, over to the Olympic village and the beach and then up in the Gothic quarter near the old city wall. The tour groups are small too, which is nice. Our group was 6 adults plus the guide. Worth every cent of 75 Euro per person. read more
