My husband and I are from out of town and decided to grab pizza here for dinner. We shared the Bee Thousand ($26), which kind of sounded like a hot honey pizza, and a Caesar salad ($13). Unfortunately both were kinda mid. The pizza had a good crust but it didn't really taste like the hot honey pizzas I'm used to (maybe it's not supposed to be a hot honey pizza). I had high expectations because it was $26 but it mostly just tasted like salami. The Caesar was what I was most disappointed about though. The sugar snap peas just threw me off and the salad tasted very sweet to me. The service was good though and we found seats right away despite it being busy. It's a cool spot with a friendly staff and car shop atmosphere. The pizzas have great choices of toppings, and the two we tried were delicious. However, so many people recommend this place for GF pizza, I have to divide this review because it's crazy uneven. Non gluten-free: absolutely amazing, tasty crust, HUGE pizza. Gluten free: pizza is much, much, much smaller, with very thin crust. It's tasty, don't get me wrong, but it's nothing like the non-GF one. And yes, making gluten free is more tricky, but let's just go to Marco's Coal Fired in Denver and see how it can be done. Barchetta is not a good example of GF pizza. Pizzas here are also pretty expensive - in case of the regular one, I can kinda understand because of the size. But the gluten free one is tiny and more expensive. So overpriced. In other words, it's ok, but DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT. Gluten free guys, choose a different place, regular people without allergies and sensitivities, enjoy. Still, I'm giving it 4/5 because of how happy my partner was with the regular one. read more

Disappointing visit... Bella salad is very very good, but Margherita pizza last night was dry and sparse of ingredients. There was very little cheese or sauce... skimpy. Also more olive oil on all your pizza's would make a big difference! When I asked for olive oil it should have come to the table in a proper olive oil pourer. The crust was good and thin and cooked well. We love the patio and the service! This is our neighborhood pizzeria so we hope it will improve. Ciao! read more

This former car shop turned pizzeria is such a vibe! With outdoor/indoor dining space, it's a great place for small and large groups. Once you enter you immediately order and then they bring your food to your table. The wedge salad was huge! The pizza, oh the pizza was delicious. With many spirit options, everyone can leave happy. Sadly we don't live in Boulder. But when visiting we looked on Yelp and picked Barchetta. Very glad we did. We ordered the Rosa which is similar to a margarita but with Vodka sauce and herbs. Very delicious. Since we took half of it home we had to order some of the in house ice cream. I had the maple. It was excellent. My husband ordered the cherry. It was good but not as good as mine. Oh helllllll yeah. Delicious, creative pizza combos. Great crust (this is ultimately what makes or breaks a pizza joint). Extremely cool staff. A block or two off Pearl street so not intolerabley busy like everything else. Ask the staff their favorites and they'll point you in the right directions. Primo ingredients and they do not slack on quantity of toppings either. Queen Margherita - add prosciutto and arugula. Might have been our best decision the entire day. Pour your own beer. Had to order through DoorDash because we wanted it delivered. We ordered salami with extra cheese. It was the worst pizza we've ever had delivered. Maybe this pizza is supposed to be served fresh and we messed up by ordering it through DoorDash. Wood fired custom pizza? Yes please! This place is close to on the mall but on the side where you can still pay for parking with coins. It's a little pricey - it was a hundo for 2 custom pizzas, 2 salads, 2 soft drinks and 2 desserts. But the staff was kind, the service was quick and the food was so tasty. The crust has the snap you are looking for. One pizza is enough for 2 very hungry people. Be prepared for leftovers. The salad is not the usual boring greens and was perfectly dressed. The real star is the chocolate mousse with raspberry crème on top. Pro tip - mix it together for a delectable dessert. We grabbed a salted chocolate chip cookie to go with our leftover pizza. It has been a while since the Yelp reviews did not match my expectations. Visiting from Brooklyn, I was craving pizza after a day of hiking. #Barchetta was a let down. We tried the Bee Thousand pie ($26) but unfortunately most of it went to the garbage. The fact that they packed it in a box without considering to say "Is this edible?" is beyond me. The "sauce" they used seemed like it was a tomato paste. I did not take a picture of the wings but I ordered BBQ wings and got what appeared to be plain wings - no sauce whatsoever. We have been wanting to try this place for a while and finally went last night. Let's start with the building itself. Super cool space, order at the counter and then they bring it to you. They have beer and wine if that's your thing. On tap so seems pretty convenient. We decided to go very tradition and went for the cheese pizza and cheese bread. Cheese bread came 1st, really good. Update: My son and I convinced my wife to go on Saturday. We changed it up a bit. The wife did the wine which was convenient once you got the system down which the staff helped with. We had to do the cheese bread again (amazing like the last time). For pizza, my wife picked the Bianco (mozzarella , ricotta, caramelized onions, parmigiana , oregano). My son picked the Hapa-Haole - "White Hawaiian" (mozzarella , ham, pineapple, scallions, Hapa sauce= fresno-pineapple-strawberry hot sauce). I decided I would try both. My son ended up liking my wife's choice but I preferred the Hawaiian. The spicy sauce was really spicy but very good. Great place to stop for lunch on the way home from a hike in Boulder. Their covered patio is dog friendly and an employee came out from behind the counter right away to give our pups some water. The pizza was good (a little pricey, but good). They have a cool hand washing station inside that my toddler had fun trying out. A little tucked away on the way to the bathrooms were the self pour stations. They had a decent number of options. The only thing I did not like was that when you drop your self pour card in the boxes on the way out, you are forced to leave a high % tip. I think there were something like 3 handwritten options and went up to like 35%... for self serve beer? Umm, seems excessive. There was no "no tip" option. So even if you already tipped on food at the counter, if you pour from their self pour spouts you will be required to opt in to a tip by dropping your card in the box, unless you want to kick up a fuss about it. read more

I'm a big sweet tooth so I couldn't resist trying their chocolate chip cookie (freshly made and pulled out of the oven) and cheesecake... We were visiting Boulder for 7 days and ate there 3 times. Im from NY and this place is super legit. If you crave relaxed evening with friends eating pizza and drinking good beer and wine (from self serve wall of fun) this is your place. Great food (not only pizza, try their prosciutto with melon and smoked salt). Very relaxed. Great service- everybody is sooooo nice and pleasant. Perfect combination for perfect lunch or night out. We will order the Verde Verde again and again -- never get tired of that one. Also ordered the Mycophile (mushroom) pizza, also good -- very "garlicky". I decided to switch up my weekly pizza order and try out Barchetta. I ordered take out and my order was ready right at 6pm (which was a nice "surprise" since the last couple places I've order from were running ~30+ min behind). I got there early and everyone was very friendly while I waited. One of the waiters even offered me water while I waited outside. Parking was also really easy to find for a Sunday evening. Now to the pizza. I got the cheesy bread and the Bianco with sausage. The cheesy bread was so good, although I preferred it without the marinara sauce. I really enjoyed the Bianco but without the sausage, it would've been a bit bland. There wasn't that much caramelized onions and I ended up spreading the ricotta dollops on each slice so I wouldn't have a mouthful in one bite. I definitely recommend getting the Bianco with the sausage or some other meat. The sausage added something extra which I really enjoyed. I shared the order with my sister and it was a good amount of food for both of us! I'll definitely stop by again! (Please excuse the partially eaten pizza & cheesy bread.
