Oswell is so unbelievably unprofessional and disrespectful that everyone would be well warned to…read morestay far away from him. When you book a massage, you want to be able to relax and trust that you are in good hands. You will NOT find that here, and Oswell should be ashamed of his behavior.
Before buying a Groupon, I wanted to check that he had times available that fit my schedule. So I called the number listed. After a few rings, it was clear that the phone had been picked up, but no one said anything. I waited several seconds, then asked, "Hello? Is this Premier Massage?" The man responded, "Yeah. This is Oswell." Most businesses answer their phones politely, stating the name of the business; I would have settled for at least a "Hello." This should have been my first clue that this was not a company I wanted to do business with. But I am too kind & patient for my own good, and so I told him that I wanted to make an appointment for this week. He told me, "Yeah, go on the website and book it there."
I really should have given up here, but it seemed like such a good deal that I went to the website. I found eight suitable times available on three different days, so I went ahead and got the Groupon. I made my reservation, and was looking forward to my massage.
Over 24 hrs later, less than 36 hrs before my appt, I received an email in which he not only misspelled my name but informed me that he was closed for the entire week.
I was livid. I'd already bought the Groupon, with the expectation that I would be able to use it for one of the 8 available times listed on the website. If he was closed this week, the website should say so; plus, he should have informed me over the phone when I'd called him in the first place. I wrote him back to politely let him know that I was angry that he had wasted my time and money. I told him, rightfully, that his behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful.
He wrote me back to tell me that I was being "mean".
I was astounded. This man runs a business where
(1) you can't trust that he will help you over the phone, or even interact with you in a decent manner;
(2) you can't trust that the times on his website are true;
(3) he feels he can close the office on a whim and contact you at his leisure, regardless of any inconvenience it might cause to you (a potential client);
(4) he feels that he is completely absolved of any responsibility in this situation, and if you get angry, he accuses you of being "mean".
[I can assure you that I was definitely NOT being mean. Anger and honest statement of fact are not meanness; meanness is lashing out and name-calling and lies. I don't stoop to that, because I don't believe people deserve to be treated like that, regardless of how irresponsible, unprofessional, and disrespectful they have been. I refuse to stoop to their level, because I think it's important to remain a person of integrity, even when dealing with someone who is clearly devoid of any integrity at all.]
So I am writing this review to warn you that this man lies about when he is available, is careless & cavalier with your time, and doesn't have the decency or respect that really any professional should have when offering a service to the public. Especially in the massage business, which is such a personal interaction, you should be able to trust that person. And Oswell is definitely not a trustworthy individual.

Yes, I am disabled, and yes, I am overstressed, and yes, as much as I would like to lie in bed for days, I can't because I have people counting on me. I did state all that in my email, as background for the situation. I don't know why he is quoting that, as though being sick and having stress is a crime or meets his strange qualifications for "mean". For someone in the massage business, this would be a reason for most to be MORE compassionate with a prospective client.
Yes, my husband did call. I was so frustrated to learn that I had been screwed over by Oswell that I burst into tears. My husband, ever the peacemaker, called to reproach him for his disrespectful & unethical behavior, and to see if we could find some way to reach common ground. Oswell continued to be rude and uncaring, and no common ground was found. I had responded to his email only to express my disbelief at his refusal to take any responsibility for the situation. He seems to consider this statement of fact "rude". It's worth noting that I'd waited until this final exchange of emails before even coming on Yelp, because I'd wanted to give him a chance to rectify the situation first.
I'd gladly supply more information, but Yelp's constraints prevent me from writing further; however, Oswell's comment makes his unjustifiable attitude all the more evident. And think on these priorities: it took him forever to tell me that his office was closed, but look how quickly he hopped on here to comment.
