Having a chronic issue with my back I usually get a therapeutic massage on a regular basis, mainly for pain relief and stress relief. I found John Jones online and after reading some other reviews I knew I had to try him. He responded immediately, made an appointment for the following day and showed up on time, enthusiastic and ready to start the session. He arrived with all the gear, music, essential oils, and professional table nicely made up. He immediately made me feel at ease with his charming conversation and professional approach. I had just finished a hard day of building cabinets in my garage so my back muscles were especially contracted and painful. Immediately he knew where to begin to start releasing each muscle layer one by one, he taught me how to assist with deep breathing. It was amazing to feel my body start healing one area/muscle at a time. He has really strong hands and manipulates each muscle tissue to trick it to relax. He is well educated in the anatomy and his experience gives him his self assured approach. Next day I returned back to my project and worked just as hard thanks to John fixing me up to get back into my work. I sought treatment from John 3 weeks after a rearend car accident. I was having neck pain and headaches. The tension in my neck and shoulders was intense. During the past 8 years I have tried different therapists, different techniques and Sports therapy and massage as part of my triathlon program. Two years ago I had a bad injury on the leg while training, it kept me without walking for a week. When physical therapy was not helping enough I started seeing John and after only a couple sessions I began to see drastic improvements. I usually need a lot of work and what most would consider deep tissue however with John's techniques I don't find myself feeling as sore or like I was bruised, which is how I feel when I receive deep tissue massages from any other massage therapist. John is AMAZing!!! I can't believe my luck finding him, but then again, that's why I love Yelp. I have had various injuries over a lifetime of activities, both from overuse and sports jams. John gave me my life back !!!! I have been a ballroom dancer for almost 40 years. My feet have been getting worse for several years now and i was seriously worried i would have to stop dancing and I am only almost 70 years old. I would try to stay off my feet if I had a dance that night and would elevate them for an hour or two every day. Nothing helped. I tried different shoes and insoles too. I have over 20 friends still dancing in their nineties and i wanted to be like them! I was unable to walk barefoot without pain,,, even wore rubber shower sandals in the shower to avoid standing barefoot on a hard surface.
