There aren't very many places that A: do sugar waxing and B: are good at sugar waxing. I am happy to announce that this place does sugaring and she's EXCELLENT at it! I will most definitely be coming back for more, even if it stings a little . Overall, my experience was a 10/10. The location is great-- very easy to find. The aesthetics of the place are so cute. If I could hangout there all day I would lol. The esthetician was so knowledgeable and friendly and it made for a really good time. The building has their own parking lot, which is great. Walk up the stairs to the second floor. Owner Shanoa is really nice. Place was spotlessly clean, and the rooms were nicely sized. Sugar waxing was good. (chin, lip and bikini) I have super sensitive skin. As far as the hydra facial: The warm towel felt great in the beginning. The exfoliating step felt like my skin was being licked by a cat's raspy rough tongue. Hurt a bit. The cold gelee mask she used on me at the end felt fabulous. My review on waxing vs. sugaring for those of you skeptical to try sugaring or waxing. I just tried "sugaring" for the first time a few weeks ago, and I have been waxing for years. Here are my thoughts on sugaring: PROS: -not as hot as wax is when it first goes on your skin -longer in between appointments -smoother results -i have really sensitive skin and it doesn't seem to bother me -less painful and hardly any irritation right after CONS: -could be a little pricey depending on what you get waxed BUT if you keep up with the waxes you can go longer in between so might save money I personally like both waxing and sugaring, but I will try sugaring more to see what the overall long term results will be. Came in for the first time on 7/15/19 for sugaring with Ruby. She was super nice and really made me feel comfortable about the whole experience. I was able to message her a couple of days ahead of time to ask for some basic information about the sugaring since it would be my first time. She was quick to reply and gave me some helpful tips before my appointment. The studio itself is super cute and comfortable. Ruby got right down to business with sugaring but was very kind and totally helped me feel at ease since it was my first time there and I wasn't sure what to expect. Ruby is recently certified in sugaring and was honest in telling me she is still in the process of perfecting it. I truly think she did such a great job! I knew it wasn't going to be the most comfortable, and there were only a few times where it was "painful" but by the time I knew it, 20 minutes later, she had finished. We chatted the whole time and she made sure to ask if the results were to my liking. I already have my follow up with Ruby in 4 weeks.
