I received a coupon deal as a present from a friend. The first appointment with Merlyn went along very pleasantly, until she started talking about how bad the coupon deal was for her. She went on and on about how she was losing money and how much the deal cost her, which made me feel really bad, like I owed her something. But this isn't why I only gave her 2 stars. I booked my second appointment right after we got done with my first one. I told her several times that I was only available Wednesdays and Thursdays, but she kept suggesting days other than those. We settled on a Thursday that worked and she even wrote down that I was only available those days. Come time for my second appointment, I show up and no one is at the studio, so I give her a call. She first stated that my appointment was the day previous, which it was not, because I put it in my phone immediately, and I even wrote it on my card in the studio. She then said that my appointment was that day, but I had called to cancel it and switch it to a Monday. Again, not available that day. She also stated that she had to go to the dentist, so she wouldn't have been able to make my appointment anyways. After calling me by 3 different names, she wouldn't take it that I was not the one that called, and maybe it was a different appointment. I won't be scheduling for any more appointments and I have thrown away my coupon card. She wouldn't let me finish any sentences while talking to her and I believe she got confused when talking to a different customer about rescheduling. read more

found lynette through yelp ! i wanted to check a skin place out and i absolutely LOVE her !! i did the basic facial& felt beyond great . if you are looking for something simple, i would recommend the basic facial (45 min) it includes cleanser, scrub, blackhead/whitehead removal, face massage, mask, toner, & moisturizer . after my facial cleanse, my face was so smooth like a baby's skin !! i do not have any skin issue, but it was very relaxing to lie down and have my face cleanse . all facials are affordable and i would be back soon for other options, thank you lynette !! read more

Biggest scam. Purchased a gift card for my girlfriend. And ever since I gave it to her, she is been trying to call the salon and they are always booked. Which I don't think that's the issue. They are just ignore people with gift cards since they already got the money. They sale rep i bought the gift card from said that there is no expiration date to find out that it expires 4 months of the date of purchase. Never will recommend this place to anyone. People doing business in this way won't last too long. read more

During my first visit i bought 2 things she recommended for my skin and they were the best investment because in that time period my skin improved sooo much. Recieved a coupon for three days, LAST YEAR. A door to door business man through this horrible shop was selling vouchers 50$ for 3 days at the spa! Left multiple calls with voicemails to both numbers provided to this spa for months, no answer on either nor did I get any calls back from this place. Mind you, I bought the 50$ voucher before November 2016. Coupon expired in feb of this year, not sure how a business is so busy it can't get back to you for months. Recieved a call today, couldn't really hear what was going on, caller stated she was from this business( didn't understand what she was saying at the time so I googled the phone number) prior to hanging up on me, caller decides to say "don't call again" I'm astonished this business has such high ratings.
