Absolutely amazing! Went in a few months ago for a state inspection, they were super friendly and completed the inspection quickly. Took my vehicle back for an oil change today, another amazing experience! The Assistant Manager, Seth was great! They quoted exactly what they were going to do and did only that, did not try to up-sell any unnecessary services. Car needed an oil change. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely be back.

My wife took her 2023 Cadillac XT4 in for an oil change. We had our last oil change done here as well with no issues. This is only the second oil change since buying the car. This time they told my wife that the oil plug was damaged. My wife asked how that happened and the manager told her that this happens often with this car and that she should plan on having it replaced at least every other oil change. They had to order one from another dealership and bring it over and put it on the car. He tried to charge my wife for the plug, but she said that she was not going to pay for it since they were clearly the ones who broke it on the last oil change. He told her that he would give it to her this time, but plan on paying often for one going forward. We then took it to James Woods and the lady who works there has the same car. She said that she has never had to replace the oil plug on that car. She also said that the technicians said this isn't happening for them when performing oil changes. She said beware it seems like a scam to get my wife to have to pay more money. I called the manager of Bare bones Phillip and he said that they break "from time to time". Different story from telling my wife she would be wise to carry a bag of them with her. This is very disappointing since they are close to our house and we like to keep our business local. My husband went here trying to support local business. However, this place is a joke.... He got quoted $800 for replacing his side mirror. Came home I did the research found the part on the GM website.... for $258 & that was with shipping. Got the part, went to another mechanic who installed it for $60. Soooo yeah talk about an up charge....no thanks. Doesn't seem very honest to me. read more

I'm from out of town and a tremendous "worrier". Prior to leaving Kansas I had been told that I needed a new battery. I was half way to Krum , TX pulling a horse trailer and the check engine light came on. A car dealer in Norman OK was able to check it and get it to shut off but agreed that a gas cap, emission system, battery or any number of things could be the cause. The check engine light stayed off but all I could think about was the battery needing replaced. I looked under the hood and discovered that this was not an easy battery switch. The manager at Bare Bones told me to bring it over and they would check the battery etc. Guess what? The battery is fine. The kindness shown to me in those few short minutes will save me hours of worry with a truck, two horses in a big trailer as I drive back to KS in high heat. Thanks Bare Bones!
