Unfortunately I had a nail hit my tire and after going to discount tire where they told me I needed to replace the whole tire and get a new set, I found this place base on a similar review. The shop was about to close and a gentleman on the phone told me if I could make in 15 mins he could get me in and out! And he was right. I was in and out in 10 mins and only paid $15 vs $200 plus for a new tire asap. When I have my tires replaced in a few months, I know where I'll be going. You just made a new customer. Just amazed. I bought a Groupon for tire rotation and balancing. I called ahead wanted to make an appointment and been told that it's a first come first serve establishment. When I pulled in I was approached by one of their associate right away and next thing you know 4 guys are around my car already lifting it with me inside. Hahaha 10-15 min later the job was done. The used ones I took a peek at and some looked like only a few thousand miles on them Service. Excellent. I came in for a flat tire repair and they took the spare off, examined the flat tire found the leak , repaired it and reinstalled it in around 30 minutes from my arrival ... and added and checked air pressure in other tires too! I was impressed Cost $7.50. Yep. That's it's. Wow. When I need tires I am coming here. They are a great tire shop. In the Covid days Id rather help the small guy out than the big chains. read more

Went here for the first time today because this shop was on my way. Service was fast and decent. The only reason I took 3 stars off is because they charge me $12 for a plug repair! Everywhere else that I know of charges either $6 or $7 for a plug repair and $10-12 for a patch repair. They all give good fast and great customer service. Never had any issues with them. When I brought the high price to owner's/manager's attention his comment was, "Next year it will be $20." Not sure if I will go back again or recommend this shop to others. read more

I said that I needed the tires mounted and balanced... ...and then they got to work, more like a pit crew at Texas Motor Speedway than like a typical tire shop. We've needed the services of Mike's Tire a handful of times since my last review and they never disappoint! It is a bit of a drive from where we live, but it is more than worth it. Everyone who works there is friendly, helpful, professional, and lightning-fast. The prices that they charge are fair and reasonable and well below what other places quote for the same service. In fact, on a few occasions Mike's Tire charged less than half what other places were quoting us! I can't recommend this place enough! read more

I have been to Mike's twice in the last month. I had a rear tire on my Honda Pilot blowout on the highway and bought a good used tire for a great price. The 2nd time was for my Infiniti M56S. It is my baby. I don't trust many to touch it but I trusted that Mike's would take care of me. I initially called about buying a used tire but when the owner (Mustafa) looked at it, he told me I did not need a new tire. I was blown away. Who talks you out of buying something from them? Honesty goes a long way with me. I will be a long-term customer of his from now on. PS: Do not judge a book by its cover, since the shop is old and looks it but that is a testament to the quality of work they do and how long they have been in business. I can imagine Mustafa saying: "We do great work at more than a fair price and are honest. We do not need a fancy shop." What more could you ask for...?? read more

Been here several times for installing used tires and never had much of an issue until recently. Didn't notice until I got home as my truck is parked inside the garage. Notice one of the wheels was badly scratches in several places. These wheels were like new condition prior. As I didn't discover it until 2 weeks later, I knew it was hard to proof it was done by them. But keep in mind, I have 2 other cars and my truck was parked the whole time Then on a recent visit, had the state inspection done on my daughters car. Never had the check engine lights so was surprised they insist I need to get a new gas cap as it didn't pass. Again, no check engine light detected by the OBD2. Went ahead and paid an extra $15 for their generic gas cap. 2 days later, check engine light is on. Went to autoZone and was told its most likely the gas cap. Notice the new cap didn't have the tether attached so that was a pain when getting gas. Decided to just tighten the cap further and hope it'll go off. Well, a week later and light still on. Remove battery connection to reset the light, but it came back on the next day. Went back to a different auto zone and was told it's the same code still. Once again, I tried tighten the cap again and waited another week. Decided to visit Mikes tires and was told he can't do the exchange for another gas cap nor could he refund the $15. I have asked him several times for refund and explained the probability of how I never had check engine light and now with the new gas cap, its turn on the check engine light. He insist it's not the fault of their cap and he won't offer the refund. Keep in mind, we were both very civilized as I wasn't mad or shouting. I left his shop very disappointed as I now have to buy another new gas cap, but I wanted the original OEM Lexus, which was a bit more at around $25. Anyway, decided it's still cheaper than taking it to the mechanic, which is what mikes tires kept saying to do. But the logical step is still the gas cap after I had done hours of research online and was told by another mechanic friend from church. Since the new OEM gas cap, it's been more than a month now and no more check engine light. So total, I wasted $15 for his cap plus $25 for the new Lexus cap, plus the 2 trips to autoZone to read the code and another trip back to mikes tires. Not counting the many hours spent researching online and frustration. As of now, I don't have the same trust or respect from Mike's tire given my recent experiences. I did notice that in the waiting room, he advertises special for wipers and gas caps, so not sure if this is just the tactic of padding extra profit? Either way, I guess I'll have to find another tire shop in the future, which was unfortunately as I was hoping he would make things right when given the chance read more

Love that they have an option to request a quote via the Yelp app. I got a response within minutes and the price didn't change once I got there. They sell both new and used tires. The location is small with a few seats outside and some inside in the AC. The guy who helped me was Alex and he was nice and got it taken care of very quickly. The owner who messaged me through Yelp was also very friendly! Will be back if I need to replace any more tires. read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS I bought tires here two months back- everything seemed fine until I got a flat and upon repair, noticed that the tires I picked out were not the ones that were installed. The tire had already been repaired. TWICE. I decided to replace both the tires I had bought and the other one had been repaired with a CLOTH PLUG from the OUTSIDE. The tire had water inside of it because of this. A ticking time bomb. These guys are DISHONEST and DANGEROUS. I thought I got a great deal but it only cost me double to go through this guys. I had what I call a God morning. Meaning.....I was on my way in to work (surgery started at 9, and I'm the surgeon) and I got a flat unexpectedly. These guys saved my day! I had a nail in my tire that loosened suddenly and air in my tire depleted as I turned under 35. I am so thankful I was driving right by Mike's as my tire pressure went from normal to flat nearly instantly. The guys had my tire off, patched, and back on IN LESS THAN 6 MINUTES!!!!!!! I wanted to like this place as they seemed super helpful when I was getting information and quotes prior to bringing my truck in via email, unfortunately this was not the same person I met when I came in to get the work done. When I came in the guy at the counter was not friendly and I felt like he was bothered that a customer came in at 8AM. The pros would be that they do have financing with a 90 day pay off plan which most people qualify for, and the guys who did the work when I came in later that evening when my tires came in where super fast and much friendlier. Unfortunately, going that fast may not have been the ideal thing as my rims ended up with a few deep scratches which were very noticeable since I have 22" black rims. By the end I have also met Mustafa who I assume is one of the managers and he was much friendlier and helpful, unfortunately I already had a bad taste in my mouth from the guy I had to deal with earlier. read more

They were able to mount the tire, install on my vehicle and put the spare back underneath my SUV in the amount of time that it took me to go to the store across the road and back. I had the extreme pleasure to have the crew at Mike's Tire install some low profile track tires on brand new wheels. Called to get a quote on tires for a Honda Pilot two weeks ago. Was quoted an amazing price of $45 per tire with installation and balance. Called back last week to confirm and was quoted the same estimate. Arrived today and was told that the $45 tires were no good and wouldn't pass inspection. They then tried to push some tires for $65 each. Why would they lie more than once to lure us in when we're trying to put tires on our car to pass inspection? Don't bother with this dishonest business. Go to Gomez tires on the other side of 35. Gomez tires put two tires on for $40 each with balance and full service on all tires. They were sympathetic to our prior experience and were courteous, helpful, and explained everything to us as we were there. read more
