This was a nice little beach side grill location, it was family friendly and dog friendly to a degree... our boy is shy of strangers, but non aggressive and has been doing well with human Crowd trainings. because he is a malinois and looks can decieve, we secluded ourselves to a back corner on the patio. Our waiter unfortunately was not dog friendly not sure why they would work at an establishment that allows dogs, if scared of them- so he would not come to our table.... I didnt even care to catch his name for a review. But the bartender who was on duty (Gin) was AHHHMAAZING, she realized immediately that he was no threat and treated us no differently, due to her demeanor and behavior, our dog was able to truly relax with us and as a family we felt welcomed. They get 2 stars simply because Miss Penny was amazing. Aside from that, this place really missed the mark. I should've trusted my gut and stuck with what Florida does best -- fried seafood. Instead, we decided to branch out and ordered a pulled pork sandwich and a smash burger. Neither should be hard to get right. The "smash burger" tasted like a frozen patty that had been smashed during processing, not an actual fresh smash burger. If you're going to advertise a smash burger, serve a real smash burger. Same goes for the pulled pork. If you're going to advertise pulled pork, then serve real pulled pork -- not something that tastes reheated and generic. At the end of the day, this feels like a lot of beach bars: overpriced food, overpriced drinks, and menus that promise one thing but deliver something completely different. read more

We enjoyed it's so much we went three times during our trip to PCB! The Pina Coladas are delicious and you get to keep the souvenir cup. Also the breakfast that we had which included the Grits Bowl and the Burrito were very, very tasty! I will say though that at 9:30 a.m. to run out of champagne for mimosas was very disappointing. But the service made up for that! It was a little strange though that you couldn't get up to the bar area directly from the beach even though there was a path. You have to walk under the restaurant and over hot cement in the parking lot to get to it (I was at the beach so barefoot). read more

Arrived here in the evening and was seated almost immediately outside. My friend and I then sat at our table for 20 minutes without being greeted. I then went to the hostess to see if we could be served. 5 minutes later our waitress arrived. This same waitress was serving the couple next to us and had been to their table multiple times while we waited. It did not appear to be very busy in the restaurant. It then took about 25 minutes to receive our meals and we were disappointed again. I ordered the barefoot pasta. The chicken tasted like canned chicken, I was missing the sausage that was supposed to be included, and the bread was a hot dog bun cut diagonally. My friend ordered the barefoot nachos and she states they came out stale. Only added 2 stars for my drink- Summer Squeeze and for the view of the beach. Food was unremarkable and overpriced but had an unmistakable Caribbean feel, cocktails were similar, and while very colorful, tasted weak, bland and watered down. We came in one day and wanted to give this place a try. Parking was horrible, as there is not much, and it is horrible to cram into there. We walked down the stairs and were seated very quickly. The waitress disappeared after taking our drink order, and we almost walked out. She finally came back, and things got back to normal. I ordered the cajun french dip burger. It sounded good / interesting. However, with the name 'cajun', you'd think there was some heat. You would, sadly, be mistaken. There was no heat whatsoever on this french dip. As a french dip, it was good, but as a 'cajun' french dip, I was let down. My wife's shrimp were great, and the kids loved the shrimp, as well as their food. I didn't like the firecracker shrimp. Gator bites were ok. Chicken salad was good. My son couldn't eat his chicken sandwich. The captains platter which was shared between two people wasn't good. My wife and I were in Panama City Beach and we walked only a few blocks away to Barefoot. I was trepidatious after seeing a three star Yelp review, but I wanted to try it out. It is right on the water and I ordered a grouper sandwich with a lovely Caesar salad and my wife got the Philly cheesesteak and a side of fries. Our server was super nice and the grouper sandwich came out pretty quick, but the Caesar salad was really good! The fries were amazing, maybe because I never get French fries, kind of like pizza, which I hardly ever get, every time you get a real piece of pizza, it tastes like gold. The place is pretty huge, it was raining, so we sat inside. The cheesesteak was good, but I brought most of it home for leftovers. There are lots of great places in Panama City Beach, this isn't the best, but it is worth a shot for a nice lunch. read more

We decided to walk down the beach and stop in for some breakfast. We have been to PCB several times but never stopped in before. Happy to say, we weren't let down. The food was great! Well, for starters we walk into the building and people are piled in the waiting area looking for someone to talk to and put their name down. Come to find out they aren't taking names down so we ask the hostess if they have a list with names on it, of course they don't so we beg the hostess to start a list of names so they know the order in which we arrived. After a bit of convincing, she does. We finally get seated within 25 minutes of that. We get seated and then wait an additional 35-40 minutes just for someone to take our drink orders. As they finally realize we are in fact outside and haven't been seen we want to place our food and drinks at the same time to avoid further delay. All we wanted were some oysters. They said online and on the menu they had them. The server said they don't have any and are making a new menu but haven't changed it out. I don't ask for a lot but if you advertise something you better have it and if you don't tell me as soon as you sit me down. All around not a great experience. I'm typing this without trying the food which in my opinion I don't have to. So if you're looking for oysters don't come here. Giving this place one star because I can't choose zero. read more

Went in after traveling with my daughter and granddaughter after being in a car 8 hours. We were wanting to sit and relax. My daughter went to the bar to order a drink while I parked the car. She was asked to show her ID. She is 40 and has gained weight since her last child. The bar tender Brandy said that wasn't her in her I'd and showed it to other patrons. Laughing. She has gained 40 pounds since that picture. Found my daughter crying at the door. I asked to see the manger Tyron. He was also rude. Brandy said the picture looked more like me than her. My Concetta use to be a model and that was her on her ID. Not a great start to our vacation but no worries we went to Sharkys. We had a blast ant Sharkys and spent a lot of money. Place was on the beach. We sat outside (party of 6). They didn't have like four beers we tried to get said they "didn't get their delivery". What's up with florida not not having Dos XX in most places? Menu was not very deep on selections only like 3 things in like 4 categories which we thought was weird being on the beach and should have had more than 3-4 fish type selections. Food was good but not super. Service was ok but waiter had a tinge of BO. Had a guy singing outside which was cool so we stayed by bar outside and had a couple drinks. Don't do it! My Family and I just had probably the worst restaurant experience we've ever had. Stopped in at this restaurant at 7:00 on a Sunday evening. There was no wait, there were a few empty tables and lots of staff members. Our server, Colleen, started off fair but went downhill from there. Offered no refills. Refills were only brought when my husband asked. When she brought them she dropped them at the end of the table for us to pass out ourselves. We waited over 45 minutes for food after placing our order. Two of our $20 platters had onion rings on them. They weren't cooked at all. When we mentioned this to Colleen she said there was nothing she could do since they were included in the price of the platter. We were offered some French fries as compensation. I suggested maybe she could take off our drinks (4 iced teas). After speaking to her manager she came back and said the manager took $3 off our bill (totaling $100) for the undercooked food. The portion sizes were very small. Additionally we heard the table behind us telling their server something was raw, and heard the table on the opposite side being too told they were out of burger buns. Seriously, it was bad. Barefoot Hideaway next to the Raddison Hotel and about a mile away from Pier Park is an okay place to have a nice afternoon with the family. I loved their atmosphere and open access to the Beach. You can dine indoors or out by the bar with a beachfront. They got live music, okay food, okay drinks and okay costumer service. It is mainly the ambiance and beach front makes this restaurant worthy to visit. I was supposed to have 10% off my bill by showing my stay at the Radisson next door voucher but after a few drinks they just said okay and didn't give me the discount; truly I don't care/need the discount but it is certainly wrong for they to promote something and do something else because you have had a few drinks in.
