This week, I found a transistor radio made in 1988, that was in an unopen package! Works great! I also found a computer speaker system, I use this with one of my phones, headphone connection, to the speakers, and listen to sounds of wind, rain, and other from You Tube. Great place! It is pretty big, and has some cool t-shirts. Personally, I didn't love a lot of the clothes, but I found some cool t-shirts. They had some nice antiques and knick knacks and my grandma was shocked that she used to own a lot of them before. The only drawback is that I am still fat 6 months postpartum so I don't fit into any of their women clothes especially since back in the day, everything was tinier. I did score a grandpa looking windbreaker in the men section which made my chubby ass happy. My kid found so many gems but I had to rail him in or else he'll spend his whole college tuition. I wish I had caught the name of the man who rang us up, he was pretty rad and extra points for thinking my kid was my brother. I dug around for about an hour and half and left with arms full of goodies at a great deal. It's old school here and that's my fav way for a thrift shop to be . I loved that a small bargain happened , it was fun . Most places won't do that anymore . They had a dollar bin out front with some solid pieces . The guy who owns the store is super mellow and chill, he is learning guitar so bring him some stuff to jam on and go say hello, it will be a lot of fun I promise !

Register Staff were very helpful as a few of my tags were printed and unreadable by the scanner so she had to manually input 7-8 items. Today's discount was 50% off silver tags. As I was waiting in line I spotted a tote bag tied to an end cap, I went to check and it was a gorgeous coach bag priced at $50 with a silver tag FOR 50% off!! I felt like one of those thrift store influencers on social media!! I also found a dress I liked but saw the tag was $50. Sounds crazy for thrift so I checked the label and it was 100% silk at 30 % off. I did try it on and took it home. Today was a really good day for me bad for my wallet but happy I decided to come here.

My first and last visit here was simply bad. This location is visibly dirty inside and just not a…read morewell run store. I came in trying to find some beige or forrest green shirts and pants. What I found as I rummaged through the racks was clothes unfit to be re-sold. I found a few clothing with paints stains, rips, and what looked like grease marks. The prices here are ridiculous. I managed to find 1 beige top that I liked and it was by the cheap brand SHEIN. I don't own anything SHEIN but it's well known for being a retailer that sales fast fashions for very cheap. The top had no price on it and when I asked the girl at check out they went to the back to check with someone and they told me it'd be $7.99 I left it and went online to see what it goes for in SHEINS website and I found it for $7.29 There were other items I found that definitely seemed marked up. What a rip off! People willingly donate their items for free and these companies make a profit from it. The whole purpose of thrifting is to buy gently used items at affordable prices, but many thrift stores are forgetting to make things affordable and charging prices that are ridiculous when they were given to them for FREE. I'll stick with Assistance League thrift stores, they are truly affordable and are operated by elderly volunteers that are kind and helpful. Truly recommend if you're a thrifter to check out Assistance Leagues, some of the best clothing & deals I have gotten have been with them. I bought a nice pair of Levi's for $4, you won't find prices like that for name brand items at Goodwill anymore. Sad
