Plastic Press no refunds $18.93+++ Manager accused me of dropping it.

Beware Bargain Fair does not honor their products. I bought a beaker for my French Press (plastic) I used my beaker twice and it cracked. I tried to get a replacement and I was accused of dropping. They don't give refunds or offer replacement. The manager & clerk are rude. I was called a liar. The manager (Sheida Pourat) never looked at the defective container. It is not the $ it is the principal. I attached pics of my purchase for $18.93 ++ plastic compared to a French Press for $20++ (Press and a glass beaker)I bought at Koontz Hardware in W. Hollywood. I called vendor this product comes in a box. No Box only a price tag????? Terminate Sheida and the clerk or send them to a class on customer service.

    Palate & Plate's 7" bowl-$1.99 per, 10" wide rim soup or pasta bowl-$5.99 each & sauce pots-$1.29 per.

Leave the Birkin behind, stash some cash or major credit card in your skinny jeans! Bargain Fair's aisles, chock full from floor to ceiling with reasonable to inexpensive kitchen, restaurant and catering items, are so teeny I felt like the proverbial bull in a china shop. My mission was to score white, flatware and not break the bank cuz I need more dishes like Jay Leno needs another car. My mind's eye said, "Go square, or oblong!" but while blinded by Palate & Plate's™ whiteout, round made more sense. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/IrlWr69rqHpen_bVamXyow?select=JzAMawcAzV03fG7BAGCs6w Half way into my shopping, a sales associate asked if she could hold my items at the checkout. But of course! She shrewdly removed them, handing the empty basket back for more shopping. I asked if they stocked dough scrapers, an inexpensive-must-have-not-just-for-baking kitchen tool according to a recent LA Times article. A steal at $1.99! But wait there's more! Much more, like glasses, barware, professional cookware, knives, utensils, bubble bowls, candles, doilies, napkin rings, disposable shot glasses and demitasse spoons, greeting cards, chef's pants and cleaning supplies to keep silver gleaming! What else? I parked at a meter on Fairfax where a quarter buys 15-minutes. Another reviewer suggested the public lot near Canter's; duh, I drove right by it. A customer advised not to hesitate on items because the stock turns quickly. "Won't be here when you come back", he said, shaking his head. I left a happy customer for just under $50 and I will be back!

This isn't the fairest fair in all the land, but their prices are fair for the fare you're offered. Fair enough?

Great stop! Came in an hour before closing and the parking was fine on site - not too busy either!…read moreGreat selection of products and generally good prices. I love these types of stores so it would've been easy for me to spend lots of money there but I held back! Worth it if you're looking for any sort of unique baking supply.

Had a real quick trip here recently, and I'd be less and honest if I didn't say I was a bit bummed…read more I actually found what I came here for (I needed some British double heavy cream) for a particular dish, though I couldn't help but reminisce when this location used to be in Culver city. There are a number of reasons why the Culver City location was so much better, but perhaps the main drawback at this LA location is the fact that the former had a real sense of ambiance, and uniqueness, particularly when it came to its cozy little cafe section. Now the "cafe" is pretty much just a space within a space. Another real draw to the Culver City location was the fact that they actually had a separate section where "Guest Chefs" could come in and teach entire classes via cooking classes that sometimes you have to sign up for in advance, and other times you could just kind of walk in on it. That was dope! And while the staff was friendly enough, and again ( don't get me wrong it's still a place that I will be back to to purchase much needed product), it's just an unfortunate reality that sometimes no....you can't duplicate the past.
