So, The bad reviews below are from people who can't handle interaction with other humans IMO. It doesn't matter where you go in public, there will always be someone who you could let under your skin and what may come of it is a reflection upon yourself. So the old guy gets snippy when ya move crap around, great you probably would too if your building was brimming with old stuff . It's happened to me actually but I still go back and here's why - It doesn't matter what project I'm doing or what off the wall thing I need, from a lamp with a clamp , to a piece of stove pipe , to and old fishing net I can use to throw my disc golf discs into all the way to a used desk or even an odd sized metric wrench the list goes on! Most of the time 9 outta ten I have been able to find something useful there AND , his pricing is very fair!! Just make sure whatever you buy works before ya go home , he lets me plug stuff in and test it. It's a good ol junk shop and I've traveled the country " picking" so I believe I'm qualified to judge. I had gotten a polite welcome from Bargin Town and when I was told they did not want to buy some stuff I had they sent me to someone who did buy it at a time I needed money they helped so Thank you BARGIN TOWN. Plus some peoples garbage can be another persons treasure. read more

This place is more of a glorified large garage sale / hoarders paradise! The first article we sold to them, they quoted $20 but they had idea what to do with article. The last I went there to sell them a leaf blower / vacuum the lady said she will buy anything because there is a 30 day hold on what they buy before they can sell it. But they have junk that no one really wants or needs like older music receivers cassette decks, coffee mugs (that I am sure were taken from tourist spots). I don't understand all the horrible reviews. I've been here twice in the past year or so, and the staff members were relatively nice, and it got quite a bit of business being in a small town. Last time I came here I found a Sterlite two-drawer storage organizer for $4.00, relatively clean, and a steal compared to Walmart or other places. I use it in my bathroom to store towels, washcloths, and extra soaps. The time before that, I found a heavy-duty water cooler also for $4.00, and I still use it to this day when the weather is warm to store waters, pops, and beers. Now yes, some prices are relatively high and this place is FULL of stuff, sometimes it's difficult to walk around, but I'm the type of person who has been to every yard sale and estate sale under the sun, from beautiful 15-room mansions to cluttered hoarder's paradises. You have to look carefully at prices and what's under and behind things. It's fun to hunt this place and find a cheap treasure. read more

This place doesn't care about the customer. We went in to the store and the place had so much stuff that was piled on top of each other and no one there to help. So we proceeded to move a couple chairs off a table in order to look at another chair and table set hidden behind it. The owner finally noticed us when he saw the chairs we moved in order to look at the hidden set we were interested in buying. The owner yelled all discussed now who did this when he knew we did it because we were the only one standing there. And so my husband said I did so we can look at table and chair hidden. And the owner said all discussed and put out 'well who's going to put it back ' and my husband said 'I will' and I said no your not were leaving and he yelled at me and don't ever come back here. I had previously bought 200 from this guy and he didn't even care. The owner treats the customer like shit. Not sure how this place stays in business treating the customers that way when the other thrift stores in town have better quality furniture at cheaper prices. Customers are number one. When your boy treated that way as a customer then that's not a trustworthy establishment. read more

Awesome place just to spend time looking through all the stuff. Priced lower than most secondhand stores. If you like to rummage through stuff this is the place. They also buy all kinds of non-ferris metal as well as old electric motors and old car batteries. read more

I was tempted to give this a ONE STAR but there is a lot of cool stuff there if you can get the staff t sell it to you. There are boxes of items out front and inside the sales floor but customers will get a chastising finger wagging from the owners family for looking in them. I found lots of great stuff, unfortunately most of it was not for sale. After numerous attempts and absent signage I most likely won't try this store again. read more
