We were in Seabrook to go visit another store & stopped in here on our way home. Of course it took me longer to go thru this store than my Mom as I like to go down every aisle & check things out. They did have some super cute pink wanna be crock's but my normal size was too big (7/8) & I couldn't find the next size down I was sooo sad. Staff was nice, cashier was Joe (I believe was his/her name) very friendly & happy. A customer spilled a product @ the end of an aisle that I let staff know about & they were on it pretty quickly to clean it up. It's too bad that who ever caused the spill didn't report it to help prevent anyone from getting injured. Another thing that my Mom pointed out that I wasn't happy with was a man had pulled up in front of the store & took his young children out of the car but left his dog inside the car, not running & windows cracked....WTH?!?! I wish I had seen this guy doing that because I would have called him out on that. Does he not realize how much warmer it is inside a car on a hot, humid sunny day as the day he did this was??? It's too bad that he doesn't consider his dog like one of his children. I'd definitely stop in this location next time I'm in the area. Great job guys!!

Two aisles over, an array of better-than-basic spices and a collection of chutneys that called to us for Thanksgiving Day leftovers. It's all about the goods with little attention to merchandising. Store managers were very personable and pointed us to whatever we threw at them. I wanted to stump them and ask if they carried aquariums, lawnmowers or a garden till but I bet they do -somewhere in this cavernous store. OSJL has over 135 stores mostly concentrated in the New England area. Most impressively, they actively fundraise for their community including matching customer donations dollar-for-dollar up to $500,000 to raise money for St. Vincent de Paul food bank. In addition to the half million they donate to their community food bank, they also handle all the administrative costs and delivery. Such generosity, especially during these tough times, warms my heart; I'm glad to shop OSJL and support their efforts.
