Best store ever! I'm a marine mammal rescuer and rehabilitator so I'm always searching for nautical/marine mammal items. Seals are incredibly hard to find, but Kevin always kept a lookout for new items to bring in. I send so many people to this wonderful, happy store. Kevin was always happy to talk, laugh and made the very best holiday punch!! I will miss him dearly, but will always go to Partridge In A Bear tree for all my gifts. A fun and imaginative place to shop. read more

The five stars mostly is for the customer service! One of the clerks had stepped out for a moment, leaving the other one to manage the holiday rush. The clerk remaining was ringing people up, answering questions and offering suggestions to everyone, while staying merry and entertaining the crowd with a few jokes. He even helped me select a candle in the midst of the scramble. Charming store, good for getting the family their holiday ornaments if that is a tradition. A little over the top, which is what I love about Christmas. Good selection of candles and ornaments, and I wished I had time to look over them more carefully. We'll be back! read more

Love this shop! They have a plentiful selection of "colorful" greeting cards set up next to the counter, loads of Christmas ornaments in the rear, and fun stuff throughout. We had a nice chat with the 2 friendly gentlemen (I'm assuming the owners) manning the store. I will definitely go back the next time I'm in Newburyport-hopefully soon! read more

What a CUTE store. When we went it was all Halloween and Christmas related stuff. Ornaments galore, figurines a plenty. My only complaint is that stuff is just everywhere making it very overwhelming, hard to catch/see everything, and if you are tall like myself you get nearly decaptitated by the stuff hanging from the ceiling. I had to duck constantly from things swinging about by head. read more

LOVE THIS STORE! I always stop in whenever I'm in Newburyport. They have all kinds of super cute decorations and goodies. A few years ago, I went in on my birthday and asked how much a mermaid ornament- that looked *exactly like me,* mind you, was. It didn't have a price tag on it. She was supposed to be holding a glass but it was missing, so the guy at the front let me have it, saying the resemblance was uncanny and that it was meant to be mine. How nice is that?! They also have inspirational plaques and other goodies like that. This is my fave place to stop in whenever I'm in town :) read more

This review is more for the Salem store than it is for the Newburyport one. The lady who is at the Salem store is really nice and doesn't bother you like other staff at other stores. She tries to engage in conversation when appropriate and keeps a conversation going. I just wish the store was a little bit bigger so I didnt feel like I was knocking things over with every turn I made. The Salem location is in a prime spot and easy to access when you can find the parking of course. read more

I've been in this store many times before and while they have a nice offering they are extremely rude- I just recently called to ask them to reach out to their neighbor to tell them their phone is on mute (there is no alternative email and it is a storefront a few doors down) and they have hung up on me multiple times to the point where my co-workers have offered to call. I'll be making sure to tell those in the local North Shore area to avoid giving their business to them, having worked in retail and the service industry it's this type of attitude that really leaves an impression. read more

I'm a massive Christmas nerd and am one of the people who will pop in here year round to check it out. There's too many things to name here, but if you're visiting, as a tourist or not, and need a Christmas item there are ornaments galore in here, with decorative trees, signs, pictures, candles and decorative items. read more

You'll want to walk out of the store with everything you see from baskets to dish towels to refillable shampoo/cleaning products and all the local home-made goods you can imagine. Their taste is exquisite and they promise to source their goods from eco friendly companies. I sent pictures of flowers and ideas about what I wanted the arrangements and venue to look like and she said it would not be a problem. Again, just before the wedding date, I reached out to her to remind her of what I wanted and send in the last payment. Wedding day 2024 finally arrived. Unfortunately the flowers were a big disappointment. Let's start with the isle and arbor. She FORGOT the decorations. I had ordered 10 cones filled with baby breath and two large ferns to be placed on the chairs and the ferns at the entrance to the isle. Arbor: I requested the arbor flowers be set up left upper corner and right lower portion. What I got was 3 bunch of flowers just affixed without any direction. The flowers were dead, leaves some were dead. It looked like a child put it together. The wreaths I requested were placed on the wrong doors and no tulle was placed on them. The venue: ordered lanterns and balloons with lights in them. The lanterns were placed above the dance floor but the balloons were not placed on the floor In cluster of 3 near columns. Instead she put them in the ceiling. The the table arrangement were the right size but flowers looked old. In many cases the guard petals were still on. Overall dissatisfied, based on the time and information I provided Lisa the results should have been better. The flowers were cheap, filler flowers cheap and implementation and execution jus terrible. She was at the venue approached me and started to apologize to me during family time. We agreed that it was not the right time. On 8/5 I contacted her and again she apologized. The end result, she freely offered a small refund that we both agreed upon. No amount of money will recreate the vision I had and after holding her hand it should never have happened. She was juggling another event and dropped the ball. I will not use her again, not even for memorial bouquet!!! If you are wondering what she charged me... it was over 6000.00 thousand dollars and I am certain that the flowers were not worth more than 1500.00 dollars. I got 1500.00 back. She ruined the day. I made 10 arrangements for the rehearsal dinner and my guests thought they were done by a florist and I am not a florist. Go elsewhere for your special day needs.
