My friend turned me onto this place. The staff is wonderful and the store is extremely well organized. Racks are sorted by color and size - accessories are laid our clearly. This store carries nicer brands than some other stores of this type. The Good: 1) Nice brands - they have Lily Pulitzer, Chicos, Life is Good, etc. Brands you'll recognize 2) They sell purses/bags - Many nice brands - Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors, etc. 3) They have jewelry options 4) Good selection of sunglasses 5) Plenty of sandals and shoes 6) Golf shirts and skorts 6) They carry plus sizes You can also sell your items to them and either take the money or run a store credit. If you have a credit, when you buy items you get an additional 15% off. They also have a rewards program - get stamps when you buy that add up to a discount. Really a fantastic find! Items are priced well and are of good value. I walked out with 2 really nice tops for about $20. Will definitely be back. read more

Went in today pick up items that did not sell the most expensive item I had which was $28 was missing yes they do have security cameras throughout the store so I spent 30 minutes trying to find this item in the store that could have been misplaced I don't recommend taking anything expensive it might disappear and yes they are not responsible read more

I took two white trash bags full of very nice clothing. They would only accept three items. Two items I bought there with the possible third. I had to have 5 items to start an account. Makes me wonder if I had an account if I could sell my crap. That is total bull crap. They would want there commission for my crap. I bought a "The Sac" shoulder bag there. I had to go home and clean it inside and out. They are so picky, but they have no problem putting out dirty items. Many items sell for a really high price. This stuff isn't new. I always head in here when I'm in the area. I have always found at least one item and usually more than that. They were very organized, friendly and items become discounted depending on how long they have been in the store. They have Chicos, St Johns, and other name brands. My frequent shopper card is almost full and I recommend at least checking it out and you can see if you become a frequent shopper as well. read more

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP!! I was a first time customer. I brought in several garments which were looked over thoroughly. The shop was very selective on what they would accept. The staff was a stern and not as welcoming as one would expect at a consignment shop. They took three of my formals two of which were worn only once at my children's weddings. They were clean and kept in formal garment bags. They were delivered on hangars and protected in bags. One was sold for a mere $38. One was returned--not on a hangar, but crumpled up in a small plastic bag. Very unprofessional in my opinion and certainly not how it was accepted. I was informed that the third black tie formal was donated!! I was told there was a stain on the garment. If there was, it happened in the shop. Trust me!! If it was stained, they would never have taken it. Consignment period is 60 days. If items aren't sold, you have the option to pick up your clothing, which I did. If you do not claim you items, only then do they become the property of the shop. They had no permission to donate my formal gown. I expected it to be returned in the same condition it was received. I CANNOT and will not, in good conscience, recommend this shop. read more

First time customer. I observed a sign noting the discounted items for the day. The racks were well stocked, but not so tight on the rack that it is difficult to maneuver through the racks. Clothes were neatly sorted by brand, color, style and size. I enjoyed the convenience of being able to shop racks of designer clothes and quickly pick out several beautiful pieces of clothing to try on. In a thrift store I would have been hard pressed to find several pieces of beautiful clothing in a short amount of time. It was worth it to me to pay more than thrift store prices to find a flattering designer top that I love. The fitting rooms were roomy and the workers were helpful. I look forward to returning to Marie Rose Consignment to shop some more. read more

When people are unwelcoming I want to leave right away so this was a great first impression. I bought a pair of brand new leather Nike Air Cole Haan pumps for $15 bucks. They were a little hidden but are currently my most treasured pair of shoes. This is near the villages a retirement community so much of the clientele and clothing leaned a bit older with lots of designer gold gear. However, all qaulity brands and like I said I found the epic shoes. Good shoes and some designer purses with good prices. If it was a bit more open it would have a more boutique feel. For example, several of the shopping racks were only three feet high and so searching down instead of up always gives off a goodwill instead of boutique vibe to me. Things were organized by color and clothing kind like top or shorts. It was tidy but just not set up in a way that made me want to browse. Not worth your time! Items are extremely overpriced. Most are not "fine consignments". They had two Louis Vuitton items when I was there. Both in very poor condition and extremely old. Yet, the prices were astronomical. One was a checkbook cover, which they were trying to get somewhere around $450-500 for. In poor condition. Also, like anyone even uses checks anymore! Never again. I consigned 11 items with them. One was a beaded Jones New York formal, another a Bebe dress $150 with tags still on. My profit for all 11 items? $40. If my take is 40%, that means that each item sold for $10 or less. Really? Very, very hard to believe. I think in the future I'd just rather give the items to Good Will.
