I have had to have Murphy groomed here on several occasions and have yet to be happy with either the outcome or the cost. I picked up my dogs on Friday, and when I finally got a closer look at my fluffy corgi, I noticed she looked almost like my standard corgi. A significant amount of her fur had been cut from her butt, legs, and mane area. Normally, when I drop my dogs off, staff ask what type of grooming or cut I want. This time, no one asked, so I assumed they would follow the usual grooming notes they keep on file for my dogs. I was rushing to pick them up before closing and had to get back on the highway, so I didn't notice the haircut until I reached my destination. The before-and-after difference was very noticeable, and not only did I notice it, but several other people commented on how short her fur had been cut. What upset me most was the lack of communication. No one contacted me to confirm cutting off that much hair, and I didn't receive a call or text before the grooming was done. When I called and asked who groomed her, the manager told me it was the same groomer who usually works on my dogs and said she didn't know why the cut was done this way. At the same time, she mentioned seeing my dog on the grooming table and noticing she wasn't fixed yet and had already gone to daycare without anyone realizing--again, without any confirmation or communication with me. I've been a loyal customer and consistently leave 20% or higher tips because I appreciate good service. Unfortunately, this situation didn't feel like it was handled with genuine accountability or concern for what happened. I'm very disappointed with this experience. I trusted that my dogs' grooming history and preferences would be followed or, at the very least, confirmed with me beforehand. Sadly, this experience makes me feel like I may need to find another place for grooming.

The staff know my dog by name and greet him like family every time he arrives. Sure, he's a lovable guy, but that level of personal attention and affection speaks volumes about the culture they've created. I also love the updates and photos they share. Seeing pictures of my dog playing with his friends, enjoying a special treat like doggie ice cream or a donut, and simply having a great time gives me so much peace of mind when I'm away. And I have to mention the baths. Whatever shampoo they use is pure magic. My dog comes home looking great and smelling amazing for weeks afterward. I still haven't figured out their secret! Most importantly, I trust Willow Creek Ranch completely with the care of my dogs. While I usually board the dog I've talked about here, they've also cared for two of my other dogs. No matter the breed, size, or temperament, they've always been willing to work with both the dog and the owner to create a safe, positive experience. That level of dedication is rare. I have been there a few times to be sure I gave them the benefit of the doubt…read more Only one was I satisfied. 1) the prices for the grooming goes up every time I go even though the cut on the poodle stays very basic. 2) the quality of the cut is poor; uneven ears, gouged parts where hair is extremely botched. 3) incomplete work, don't do hair in ears or have obvious uneven areas. 4) the price for dog groom doesn't include basic things like trim face and feet, if you want your poodle to have shaved face and feet you'll pay extra. 5) if you're dissatisfied, don't bother bring dog immediately back to show them, they make it worse by trying to fix it. Don't go there!! Unskilled workers and unexplainable pricing.
