She just told me that she was taking $15 off, the haircut was $140. I have 4 dogs , spent almost $600 dollars in a haircut, I guess they don't care. They just trying to get more business. I should've left this review a while ago because my dog Moose has been to this place for years now. Mini Aussie and a little skiddish but absolutely loves it when we pull up there. The folks there are so accommodating and reliable and I couldn't sing their praises enough. I've done a couple handful of 3-4 night weekend reservations with Lucky Dawg for Moose and it's always been seamless. Spacious and the dogs always seem to be outside playing when you pull up. They'll probably hate that I'm saying this but I've had multiple dog sitting arrangements with family members fall through at the drop of a hat and they are always trying to help and make something work. Even if it's recommending a place elsewhere if they're booked. FYI I actually think this is my first yelp post but this is a legit review read more

I wanted this to be my dog's grooming place, because the place is nice, convenient, and I liked the receptionist and the owner. But the groomer is so rude, and that's my only reason for going there. I thought it was just the first time, so I tipped her 25% thinking she needed to see I was a good customer, but she was rude again on the second visit. She clipped my dog nails, but she didn't file them down. She did the first time, so I took him back in to file them down and she did it but it was blunt and jagged. Won't be going back. Fantastic place for dogs. Took our Goldendoodle Rowdy in for grooming. They did a great job. Facility was very clean and professional. Decided to have a consult for boundary training. Julie was phenomenal! My husband would never leave our Rowdy for boarding, but after seeing the people and facilities at Lucky Dawgs he said he wouldn't hesitate to leave her in their care. I can't say enough about how happy we are with the training we received from Lucky Dawg! Julie is a true dog whisperer who taught us and our dog Bella how to work together to enhance our canine - human relationships! Bella has responded extremely well to the training and behaves well in all types of situations. She follows our lead and handles herself well around children and other dogs. Walks are fun for all of us now, since we're no longer holding on for dear life. If you are considering a trainer, Julie is not only highly credentialed, but she is warm and caring, and she produces great results! Not as satisfied with the training sessions. I feel like what we worked on the first five sessions could have been taught the first two sessions. It was basic easy learning information for me that could have been practiced all at once. That way we could have worked on other things such as behavioral issues. My Lab did improve a little bit on the commands however I feel that he should have learned a lot more for what I payed for. I did not feel that the trainer was really prepared for the sessions. She is great! She has great products! The location is very nice and professional I just feel that the training plan needs to improve! The staff was amazing! I'd give them 5 stars! I did feel that my lab was worsening in behavior until he stopped going to training, he listens very well it's easier to train him without the collar and he is as calm and Mello as he used to. read more

Completely messed up my dogs hair, she even has a huge chunk missing out of the side of her, and they cut her hair about 2" shorter than i wanted! Quoted me on the phone and then charged me something completely different. And the customer service (owner?) Was horrible! She was absolutely rude. I will be letting others know of the horrible service i received and how bad my dog looks. I never even got a call to all if i wanted it cut shorter or left alone. read more

While the receptionist is very sweet the owners... not so much. Not very friendly almost cold. One man was shouting at a dog in the back. Nope nope nope, not leaving my baby there. I took my dog and immediately headed for the door without looking back. One woman was dropping off her dog to be groomed and the dog was shaking so badly (a larger dog too) I took that as another sign. Looks are deceiving! read more

We went to Lucky Dawg to rehabilitate a rescue. The behavioral specialist was great, within a few minutes she was able to calm Maggie down and get her to sit and stay. This alone was an amazing feet since Maggie was petrified of new people. The training Maggie received has changed her life, she is now able to cohabitate with people and other animals with little to no negative reaction. Lucky Dawg is also very good at retraining the pet owner as well, we were taught basic commands that are much simpler and effective than the techniques we tried in the past.
