We've been bringing our Chihuahua jack Russell mix dog to Bark Club for at least 10 years. Recently, we added a golden doodle to our family. We have also used their boarding services when we have gone on vacation & from the hundreds of times they have groomed our dogs at Bark Club we have never experienced anything negative from this establishment. I have taken my dog here 3 times and she always comes back with cuts. I thought maybe it's an accident but it's happened again and again. I stopped taking my dog there because I also noticed she shakes like crazy every time I would take her. Then I read the horrendous reviews about similar situations and I was horrified. Customer service is also poor. The old man attending is grumpy and looks always mad. Every time I would approach them about the cuts, they would get defensive instead of apologizing. This is a great dog grooming establishment. They do an excellent job in hair cutting, style, nail trimming, anal glands clearing and bathing. I have taken my dogs to this establishment for years (prior owners and this owner when they bought previous owners) and have always received great customer service and my dogs come out looking great. One of my Yorkies was badly cut by the groomer at this establishment and sent home without even alerting us to the wound. As they shaved his entire body, it wasn't long before I found the deep cut. I contacted the shop and Reina, the owner, offered to pay for my dog to visit her vet. I did so and the vet gave my pup some spray to help with the healing. I never heard back from Reina, there was ZERO follow up or concern and my requests for a refund has gone unanswered. How can you charge a customer for the worst grooming ever topped off with a gash to the belly of a 4 lb Yorkie??? Any decent establishment would take responsibility for this!!! Let me start by saying that I really tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt. I have a mini schnauzer and have taken him to bark club a total of 4 times. The first time things were ok, the second time I made a request to not shave his face when doing the traditional schnauzer cut, guess what??? They shaved it...Today I took my dog over for the forth and last time, I very specifically spoke to the lady at the front desk and requested the schnauzer cut but to not hit the hair on his legs being that I frequently brush it and want it long. Well, I pick my dog up and guess what he is practically fully shaved! If it wasn't for the facial hair and eye brows you would even recognize the schnauzer cut! Stay away from this place!!! When I complained the lady said I guess they didn't read the paper! No apology no attempt to make things right. Awful customer service! So today9/21/19 - so today we decide to give these people a second chance and guess what they turn us down and refuse service because I added a previously bad review! I told the woman on the phone that I would bring the dog in 10 minutes and the lady called me literally 11 minutes later and cancelled because the dog wasn't there in exactly 10 minutes. Yesterday an incident occurred here. I've been coming here since November of 2020. Ive even recommended multiple people here. I've always been pleased with the service. But yesterday's incident has changed my opinion. I picked up my little 6 pound Yorkie mix from her appointment. I was called to pick her up because they were closing soon. I rushed over,As I get in the car she shakes off as always but this time blood was splattered on my wind shield. No it wasn't gushing but it was still blood. I was furious. My dog was hurt and no one notified me. I called back and told them I was going back for them to see what they had done. When I walked in a looked again and noticed her ear was clipped. With scissors. They literally cut her ear. The woman began to tell me they didn't notice. She showed me there was no blood in the cage. But it didn't register to me how the groomer physically cut her with the scissor and didn't notice. Especially a small dog who doesn't even move when is being bathed. She had dry blood under her ear and on top of her head. No way that could've gotten there with out them grabbing her. I asked for a refund and was given it back. But that's not the point. The point is she cleaned my dogs ear and just went on like nothing. Put something for the blood to stop and that was all. I asked what would happen if the ear became infected and her answer was we have a vet that could go to your house and cure her. Sorry but I don't want anything to do with a place that hurt my dog. She even told me I was exaggerating. Which I did not appreciate because at that moment no one wants to be told that. And quiet frankly no one wants to be cut with scissors. Bottom line is, The groomer had to have known and didn't mention anything. I would've respected more if they would've told me hey this happened. I understand mistakes occur. But now my dog will be scared. read more

Took my little Bella here for a much needed grooming recently. Decided to give this place a try since they are now under new managment. I walked in and spoke to a friendly receptionist about scheduling. I expressed that I didn't want to leave Bella here longer than I needed to. They set me up with a time that wasn't very busy and told me it wouldn't be more than an hour. The next day I returned and spoke with the actual groomer at length about what I wanted done. I even showed them a pic of what I wanted. She was very attentive to my asks and assured me all would be well - I am very particular about Bella's fur cuts and her mother is even worse :) They called me within the hour and I went to pick up Bella. She looked great. Almost exactly like the picture. Also felt like the cost to get it all done was a bit less than I paid at Petsmart. Overall Bella and I were very pleased. We will return. I have no complaints about their work, but customer service is huge in any business. After going there for years first thing on a Saturday morning, my last visit there was unforgettable. As they unlocked the door b/c I was the first one there, the person looked at my dog and me as if I was a nuisance. Then as I'm being checked in, I'm told that I can no longer come on a Saturday, and that I need to bring my dog in during the week. I then explained that I worked all week & that it would be impossible and asked why-no answer. Customer service is crucial & they lost a customer with that treatment. read more

I brought my dogs there 2 times. First time, my dog was cut in a sensitive area and I had to take her to vet. My regular groomer, the former owner of pinkies was closed and needed to get her groomed. I took her back and this time, they cut her nail too short and it's been bleeding for over 2 hours after haircut and I'm sure I'm going to have to take her back to vet. NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN! So disappointed! I have been using this place for years. I left my dog here for a cut and she seemed fine when we picked her up, however I did notice a VERY STRONG scent. Shortly after, she started having SEVERE breathing issues. I called the place to see if they had noticed anything and the person I spoke to said that they noticed she had difficulty breathing but did not say anything about it. It appears the issue was that she had an allergic reaction to the products used. This kind of neglect and frankly abuse is unacceptable. They should have called as soon as my dog had issues breathing. They just did not care. If i could give them 0 stars, I would. read more

Run from this place !! HORRIBLE!! I am so upset that I even cried when I saw my dog. New owners. Bark Club I believe it's what they are called now. Came in at 10:30 a.m with my Siberian Husky not knowing the previous owner and groomer were gone. Was very specific about not shaving my dog or cutting his hair short at all. They called 3 times to tell me things were not doing good, that they tried to just trim his hair and it didn't look good. Again I said if you guys don't know how to do this leave him the way he is now., do not shave him. Huskies should not have their fur shaved. The heavy coat protects them from the winter and also for the heat. They are not capable of handling the heat in South Florida like other dogs do. Well they could care less about what I said. When I picked up my dog he was shaved completely, and even at that, they didn't do it right. He has patches in the front and his hair under his chin is totally uneven... where did these peole find this groomer??? And on top of that the lady at front telling me that she was sorry about the misunderstanding. What misunderstanding?? I lost count of how many times I told 2 different people not to shave him!!! Horrible experience. Loved the previous groomer she always did a great job. Never again !!! read more

"Pinkies" is under new management. I believe it's the Bark Club now. There is a young lady that works there , I believe her name is Katie., she is the new owner. My house has recently went through a terrible infestation of Ticks. I bought this antique furniture, and later discovered it had ticks. For the past few weeks I have had to get my house professionally fumigated. Ticks are a horror to deal with. My dog was placed on special medication, but during the fumigation process we have to take the dog out of the house and he would get a tick bath. Katie helped us through this terrible ordeal tremendously. She took the time to listen and would hold on to our dog until it was safe to bring the dog back into the house. She didn't even charge us to hold our dog for a few hours. On pick up our dog is very professionally groomed. We are very pleased that this young lady has taken over Pinkes.
