Melissa called me back within 24 hours, and Sarah came out that week to meet me and my dog and assured me that Allison would be able to take care of our pup. As we still had a few walks scheduled with our previous walker, they even coordinated a time for Allison to join our old walker on one of their last visits and help our dog adjust to the change. Allison is amazing, and we are so lucky to have found her! She took the time to get to know and build trust with our dog. Our dog loves her, she sends the best photos and updates after each visit, and she really goes above and beyond to keep us informed of any concerns. We've worked with lots of great dog walkers over the years, but she is the best when it comes to communication. We have regularly scheduled weekly walking, but MMH has also always been able to accommodate our one-off requests. This is one of the benefits of working with a larger company. If we need a one-off walk, and Allison isn't available, MMH has always been able to find someone, and Allison regularly introduces our dog to other walkers so that there are multiple people who can fill in when needed. If not, he can probably give you a referral to another walker. Allan is an incredible communicator, always letting me know when he's on his way and when he's safely back with Ripley through the Yo Dog App and text. The updates he sends are the sweetest, with so many amazing pictures of Ripley having a blast with the other pups. I especially love that he posts his Strava recap after their adventures. It gives me a great sense of how far they've walked and what kind of exercise Ripley got that day. We love Yo Dog! We…read morewere initially hesitant to send our 9 month old german shepherd (Remy) to daycare because we'd tried another company and he seemed to hate it. Luckily the staff at Yo Dog are all incredibly dog savvy and patient. Erik especially put in the time and effort to acclimate Remy to the process and make sure that he had a positive experience. Now Remy absolutely LOVES daycare (and especially loves when Erik comes to pick him up!) and pack walks and will happily hop to his spot in the van. The selection process is discerning but fair, ensuring the safety of the dogs. The scheduling is easy, prices reasonable, and variety of services is great. They also host open houses! It's cool to see the place, meet the staff and other dog parents, and watch your pup with their friends. Some daycares feel a little smoke and mirrors, but definitely not Yo Dog. We've now done day care, boarding and walks (including pick up and drop off while we're not home) with great results and without hesitation. Also the photo updates we get are hilarious!
