For a few years, everything was fine (but my mom also checked in regularly on the cats). My only "requirements" were to feed them wet food daily (and dispose of any uneaten wet food before adding new wet food) and make sure they had plenty of clean water, and refill dry food and water as needed. Everything would be set out - food, trash can (to dispose of the empty cans from wet food and any uneaten wet food) paper towels & carpet cleaner (for any messes), etc. My mom generally scooped litter boxes since they were in various places in the house. As I said, prior to our last vacation, all was OK for a service that I knew was more oriented to dogs. This last trip however I was very disappointed. Upon coming home, we discovered that wet food was not disposed of timely and had actually become moldy. This single occurrence has caused this review and as such, I will be finding a new service or person that is oriented to only caring for cats and their needs while we are away.

Maci responded very well to her teaching after just a few minutes of interaction, She gave us guidance and specific instruction as to how to respond to her different behaviors. In addition to her private instruction, we signed up for the 7 week puppy training class. Jennifer is also the trainer for this class so we thought it would be a good idea to get the much needed consistency. The Lisa Rockland Method is the way to go! I have a one year old, intact male Weimaraner. I was…read morestruggling with training him to be calm and act appropriately when people would enter the house. He jumped, ran circles around them, became extremely hyper, and barked aggressively (even at people that live in the house with us). In addition to that, he was a little skittish in general and is still very nervous around other dogs. Lisa came to my home and the training began immediately. She was only there for an hour, but Lisa is so intuitive to dogs' individual personalities that the insight she provided gave me the tools I needed to correct the behaviors. There are a lot of opinions and dog trainers out there; using other methods, training took me weeks, and months to even see a slight change in the behaviors I was trying to correct. It has only been a few days since Lisa came for training, but his behavior and demeanor has drastically improved, and he is actually responding to what I teaching him! I am looking forward to continuing my training with Lisa in her Behavior 101 class to improve his approach to other dogs, and my ability to be an effective and responsible dog owner.
