The services they attempt to provide are overpriced, everything besides the actual act of boardng is ala cart and , what you're buying may, IMIO not actually be worth what they charge $$$ Please uderstand, Im NOT out to decieve anyone and when I say MAYBE the quality hovers around 2 stars and, this is being kind. (Take this review any way you want, unlike some of the reviews regarding All Star, I don't work there. I'm just describing my own experience) Evidently, there's been some changes to management or staff or both and, not all change is good. Besides a recent boardatella scare /spread, an alleged attempt to cover it up failed outright. if that's not sufficient reason to go elsewhere to board the pet you love, to a lesser degree, some current employees are either not aware of their own company policy or worse, cannot seem to grasp or more accurately, comprehend what their own policy actually is. To conclude, save your money, time and most of all peace of mind - thankfully there is more than one place available that WILL truly care for your pet whilst not charging an exorbitant price to do so.

We had her for two months and she was still so skittish and shy when we decided to try to bring her to Hounds Town. The staff is amazing and really understands that every dog is different and has their own needs. The first time we brought her, I almost didn't leave her because she looked so sad and scared when I was leaving. The second time I brought her she still looked back at me but it wasn't as bad. By the third time, she was pulling me into the building and did not look back at me at all when I left. Tail wagging and wiggle butts every time now! The staff remembers her name every time and they truly love to see her come in. She has blossomed under their care and is no longer the shy, scared pup she once was. We look forward to the "paw-ties" they throw and the fun photos and "paintings" she gets sent home with. She gets spa treatments (baths and nails)! We just returned from a cruise and we had left our 5 month old wired haired dachshund with them. Our baby is a wild child with a ton of energy. We received photos everyday and they worked their magic with her while we were away. She got a lot of attention and socializing with the staff and other dogs. It has made such a difference in her behavior. It is such a relief to know that we can go away with peace of mind and not have to worry about our new fur baby. Response time is always very quick, and the rates are reasonable for the peace of mind these people provide. I love getting email updates on how my dogs are doing. Even when they're naughty and get into the trash or have a little accident, everything is in order when I get home and my dogs are happy and loved. **Need to add an update because of one visit in particular. It has taken me a while to be able to write this. Over the Summer, I had the amazing folks from Paws First watching my dogs while I was away for the weekend out of state. My senior dog's health had been in decline for a while, but it didn't seem to be cause for too much concern- just typical old dog stuff. One night, her health took a very sudden and dramatic turn. It was clear that if she were brought in to the the vet that she would not be returning. I didn't want my old girl's last moments to be spent someplace unfamiliar. You'll need a vaccine certificate from your vet as well as a current rabies certificate. You can bring their favorite bed and a toy. If you prefer they eat what they eat at home, you can bring their food and treats. I label everything so there is no confusion. They will do their best to accommodate your fur baby. My baby was a senior so he came with his on set of health concerns and the staff attended to all his needs including his medication. I actually took my baby there to spend half a day, just to see how he did and give the staff a chance to see how he reacted to his environment away from home! They have special treats, like pizza night and bagel mornings along with summer swim if you desire. Check out all they have to offer!
