If you do not pay for extra the dogs only get walked 3 times a day for less than 5 minutes and no attention is paid to them. Even with play time during the day after 5:30 they do not get walked again or checked on it seems till 13 hours later at 6:30 the next morning. When we picked up our dog the place was barren outside and the play rooms looked pretty empty just sounds of howling dogs in cages. I asked how many dogs they had at that time and the worker said about 50, plus cats. No dogs playing outside, barely any playing inside, and only 3 people working for all of those dogs. We had a live feed of our dog and could see the dog next to it and it got sick in its cage and was not attended to for at least an hour. We also arrived at 12 PM like we were told and they tried to charge us an extra $60 for "late checkout" because it was after 11 AM.

We had her for two months and she was still so skittish and shy when we decided to try to bring her to Hounds Town. The staff is amazing and really understands that every dog is different and has their own needs. The first time we brought her, I almost didn't leave her because she looked so sad and scared when I was leaving. The second time I brought her she still looked back at me but it wasn't as bad. By the third time, she was pulling me into the building and did not look back at me at all when I left. Tail wagging and wiggle butts every time now! The staff remembers her name every time and they truly love to see her come in. She has blossomed under their care and is no longer the shy, scared pup she once was. We look forward to the "paw-ties" they throw and the fun photos and "paintings" she gets sent home with. She gets spa treatments (baths and nails)! I would recommend to anyone who wants a fun, safe environment for their dog to enjoy!

The staff were very friendly and professional. The prices were very reasonable and we were so happy to see that our pooch was having fun while we were! The kennel posts pictures of the dogs at play on their facebook page so you can see the fun your dog is having while s/he is staying there. The only downside if you can call it that is that on a holiday weekend the hours to pickup/drop off are limited but that is made clear up front and they are helpful and accommodating nonetheless. My senior dog's health had been in decline for a while, but it didn't seem to be cause for too much concern- just typical old dog stuff. One night, her health took a very sudden and dramatic turn. My baby was a senior so he came with his on set of health concerns and the staff attended to all his needs including his medication. I actually took my baby there to spend half a day, just to see how he did and give the staff a chance to see how he reacted to his environment away from home! They have special treats, like pizza night and bagel mornings along with summer swim if you desire. Check out all they have to offer! Country Pet Lodge came highly recommended by my vet and k9 and service dogs local organizations! I was extremely happy with their services!
