This is one of the stores that keep me going to Cape Cod Mall. This Barnes and Noble is well-organized, and is staffed by kind, knowledgeable individuals who seem to truly care about great customer service.

Stopped by the Cape Cod Mall on a rainy day and decided to check out this location. It's right next to the food court. This location has two floors and filled with so much cool stuff. It's laid out like your typical B&N so it's easy to navigate. I love that they have a local interest section dedicated to Cape Cod themed books. They also have tables featuring local Cape authors. I saw a sign for their book club as well as advertisements for local author signings--neat! Will definitely be back when in the area.

Got this cute Book Bag here.

Terrific store. Two floors, wall to wall books. Very nice setup and very helpful staff. I enjoyed my visit and found almost everything I was looking for. Will definetly stop back here when in the area.

The sign in the cafe says, "Proudly Brewing Starbucks Coffee".....and I say, "Thank God". The Barnes & Noble Cafe is the closest place that I can get a semi-Starbucks experience....the next closest Starbucks is 20 minutes away! Everyone that works the cafe is cool. I absolutely have my favorites (Stephanie), but more often than not they get my drink correct. They also have a good selection of snacks. I do my best to stay away, but my favorite is the wild maine blueberry muffin. They don't accept Starbucks gift cards, but they will take your B&N cards. I enjoy bringing my son to the children's department and letting him play with the train set. They also have a story time a couple days a week. Other than that, I rarely visit other parts of the store. I have a Nook Color that I LOVE to read during my lunch break in the cafe. I feel so fancy with my high tech gadget! I thought I would miss the experience of holding/shopping for the book....but I am doing just fine without it. The books are at a higher price point than most other places (which is true for all Barnes & Nobles), but definitely the best spot for coffee in the mall.

    What great gardening books!

Not too many bookstores left so we are left with chain stores. This one has a Starbucks so you can get your caffeine fix while you shop.

Treasure trove of books, gifts, puzzles, collectables and Starbucks within. Super helpful sales staff and a chill vibe. Love bookstores!

Nice store but not enough variety in stock. The CDs and DVDs where also on sale at a premium.

WHO'S AFRAID OF THE BIG BAD, Independently owned and operated, used book store?!?…read more As a traveler passing through a few of the sleepy Cape Towns on the off-season, I stumbled across Greg's while walking Orleans' main street where I encountered a sign propped up against a brick wall bearing a stylized image of Medusa's Mean Mug and reading "Greg's Used Books Around Back". Undeterred and unturned to stone, my buddy and I made a left 'round the building and then a quick right where we saw the entrance to Greg's shop. The entry way was a staircase that lead us down to what we soon learned was considered to be by the political pearl clutchers in the area, Orleans' own underworld. Perhaps they were right, in a sense, given that a book about the blues bearing Robert Johnson's image was the first thing my eyes caught in the enclosed glass case of books near the entrance. Were we about to make a faustian deal of our own? Having descended down below, my buddy and I soon found ourselves in a relatively small yet incredibly well and interestingly stocked book store with posters of Jim Morrison and the Doors decorating the walls, amongst other things. We looked around for a bit and came across not only books, but also true relics from the 80's and 90's, including vhs tapes, boxed super famicom games with beautiful box art, etc. We were eventually greeted not by a Gorgon, but Greg himself, who was really a character and in the best sense of the term. Our conversation with him ran the gamut from owning and operating a business like his to politics, philosophy, and literature. He was a really cool, well versed, interesting, and friendly guy and without any pretense. For that, I respect him and his shop, which I gladly supported with my business. All in all, my experience at Greg's was Good. Everything was reasonably and fairly priced and it turns out that it isn't the underworld that some in town have made it out to be. In fact, perhaps in a world of confusion and inversion, a descent down into Greg's used book store is really a move up.
