There is nothing better than getting lost in a bookstore. Yes, I'm old. I like my electronics, but so far am holding off on the Kindle/Nook. I just love everything about a book and this store is close to home. The staff is wonderful - very "there" without being invasive. The book shelves hold a lifetime of reading for me and the selection has never let me down. So let me explain why three stars and not five (BTW, wish it could be 3.5 stars)... It's the music area. Sorry, showing my age again, but if your going to claim to be a music store then you need a much better selection. Yes, I mean CDs. Sorry folks, sometimes I want the CD. I like the art; I like knowing that I have clear title and supported an artist; I like being able to actually see the lyrics -- so that I don't inadvertently shout an oddly rhyming mismatched lyric when barreling down the road with the windows open and open road beckoning. The staff is so rude and not helpful at all. Asked the customer service girl with the black hair if they have vegan keto cookbooks and if she can physically show me where they are and she doesn't even look it up she tells me to just go look through all the cookbooks in the cookbook section until I find it and I ask her if she knows any names of any vegan keto cookbooks she says no. She doesn't even bother to type it up on the computer or walk over and show me exactly where vegan keto cookbooks are. I tell the barista what happens at Starbucks and the barista manager is listening to my conversation and says that people probably come in multiple times a day every day looking for vegan keto cookbooks. The barista says to me I don't know why you are telling me this I am a barista go to customer service and I told her I will go to half price and she's like you do that. After I get outside I tell an old lady coming in how rude they are and the barista manager comes outside and tells me that I need to leave because I'm not allowed to tell people about my bad experience and also because I complained to the barista about what happened. read more

I'm not impressed by this place. It actually looks smaller than most B&N's I have been to. And it feels cramped in here. I was happy that I wasn't badgered as soon as I walked in, but less so when I was paying. I hate being asked if I want to join your rewards program. I don't want to save 10% off your prices, if I did I'd go up the street to Target. The small cafe is a nice touch, but the coffee smell is overwhelming. The only reason I came in here was to purchase one single book and I was in the mall. No other reason for me to come in here. I would have gone to Target if I could have. read more

Good place for a wide variety of books for readers of all ages. The prices are pure high retail, and getting a discount requires additional expense paying for their member program. Its be nice if they toned that down a bit (unlikely), or ar least offer a military discount (hmm???). The staff member I interacted with was very solicitous and helpful, really going out of his way with some inquiries I made. I had to make a bulk order for an event for the company I work for, and Amy was extremely helpful in facilitating the order and was very responsive. We had to place another quick order, and she took the time to gather copies from neighboring stores to fulfill our order all while keeping me apprised of the status. Amy was truly a joy to work with. My three C's have all been met: Comfy Chairs, Cafe, and Comics. My only issue is that there are only two comfy chairs and both of them were occupied. Oh well, I sat in the cafe and enjoyed my apple purse, earl grey tea, and my graphic novels. You have to love this "third space." I did bolster my usual reading materials with books concerning my surroundings. I find the locale for this Barnes and Noble somewhat interesting. It has all of this contextual information about the Waterfront and yet it is just plopped down -- a big box without need for context. The dichotomy is astounding and I enjoyed my apple purse immensely. read more

First of all this store inside is beautiful it's laid out quite nicely and it's not cramped like some other Barnes and Nobles...plus it's nice and cool which during this heat you don't get that sweet chill air...but I went here to get some books and pop figures and the selection is off the charts...the pop selection that in the back has over a thousand pop figures and they are on point with their selection...book wise they had everything I was looking for and I did not have to order it or go looking elsewhere...the staff was friendly and the cashiers were super nice...I even stopped to have a cookie and tea in their Starbucks and the team had taken care of me in record time...I'll definitely be coming back again props to all the team members for all their hard work and customer service I'll make sure I tell everyone to shop here!!!! read more

Quite a fine place to peruse whilst awaiting your table at Burgatory! Being readers, we all ended up buying a couple books and enjoying cups of coffee and tea. I've been resisting the Nook and Kindle kind of thing - I like the feel of a book in my hands, thank you, but the guy at the Nook kiosk really has me thinking about one. Hmmmm. Nice smiles from all the staff and especially the Starbucks chicks. B&N....I'd visit you even when I'm not waiting for a Burgatory table! read more

I went into this Barnes and Noble specifically for a Starbucks. The store seemed well organized but it's the staff at Starbucks that made me smile. I wanted something cold and decafinated and the staff here were nice and very helpful. They really seemed to like what they do, even as late in the evening as I was there. read more

I enjoy this Barnes and Noble. The location has plenty of space to sit and enjoy browsing your books of choice. I have stayed for 3+ hours at a time here and enjoyed each day spent. This is why I even take the time to comment. Recommended read more

Had a great night here last evening.......went to a book signing by the author of The Demon of Brownsville Road.......Bob Cranmer......it was great meeting him and the book is spooky great. Mr. Cranmer was very kind and personable. We went to the cafe and got drinks and cookies.......mmmmmmm the Triple Chocolate Chip is awesome ! The 2 women working the cafe were both really nice ! The guy working the center information desk is really nice too......they have some very nice employees at this store......we had a great night ! read more

Good B&N. Clean on the inside, and plenty of books. Where else could you go to distract yourself for hours and hours.

This was my first visit to this location. I am pleased to say that this is one of their larger locations. They have a Starbucks in the front, a multi-media section to the left, a children's section in the back and a public restroom. While it is great to have all of these resources, I simply couldn't find anyone to help me out on the sales floor. I had a hard time locating certain genres and ended up wandering up and down the isles until I finally stumbled on what I was looking for. So, overall, the store itself is 5 stars, the customer service just isn't. read more

I'll never go to this store again. I had ordered a book to give someone as a gift. When I left the store, I opened the book to check it out. The inside of the hardcover was torn. I called and they said that was the last book at the warehouse. So, what? They just figured I wanted a torn book? The book was around $21.99 plus tax and I returned it. I then went down the street to Half Price Books and bought the exact book, brand new, for $5.99. read more
