This place is full of memories for me. I come here to search for gifts, pick up a book or magazine, buy a movie, get a coffee or to go to a quiet place to get away. I've met people here at the Starbucks inside and even browsed the store with friends to kill time. I know in this day of age, people are not reading books and magazines in paper form, but you can find some excellent gifts here. I've found some great gifts for many friends and relatives here. My niece loves the little collectibles they have here where it's a mystery what's inside of it. Check out the gift finder online! I always have a hard time trying to find things for people and it's a great tool to give you some ideas. You can even buy online and pick up in store. That's convenient if you know what you want and don't want to wait for shipping. The staff is friendly. I really don't need any help finding anything as I just wander around. The line moves fast to check out so don't let that deter you from coming. Parking is easy, but the parking lot is shared with restaurant and retail shoppers so during Christmas it can get crazy. Sadly the service has plummented here. I hate that we no longer have other brick & mortar bookstores in the area. I hope that someone with Barnes & Noble corporate will visit this location and just listen to how lazy and apathetic they are with their members. Fresh management could turn this place around. Sadly, I've never managed to get here when it's open. I work overnights, so staying up until 9am is not something that's going to happen without coffee. Sadly, the Starbucks connected but not really IN the bookstore, does not open until 9 either. Oh well, most of their books are all full price anyway. I would most likely just buy whatever I found for half the price, on Amazon. But it's nice to sometimes physically go in to a book store full of new books... you know? read more

I've always had good experiences and great customer service at this location. Most recently, we took my son in to pick out books with a gift card he received at Christmas. The only reason I'm not giving this store 5 stars is that there is so much other "stuff" on display, it was like going through a maze to get to the children's book section. It also would have been very helpful to have a staff person available in that section, we had trouble locating the (small) section of books that weren't too "babyish" or too difficult for our emerging reader. The store also has a Starbucks and seating, which we were ready for hot drinks and snacks on a cold day - note they can't take your Starbucks card/app but if you're a B&N member you can save 10%. read more

This Barnes and Noble location has been around for a while and as an avid reader, I was always here during my younger years. Now I don't live close by so I don't stop in often. I have found in the past that at some B&Ns, there aren't ever any employees on the floor that can help locate books. This one is always a mixed bag for me. I stopped by here looking for a book last night. After a couple minutes standing next to the info desk, a woman came around and asked how she could help me. She looked up the book and walked me over towards it. She located the book for me and pulled it off the shelf. Friendly and helpful. This B&N doesn't always have the most books but it is easily accessible and usually has very friendly team members. Starbucks is on site, a children's section, music section, magazines, and all the general books you would expect. read more

Although it sounds completely contradictory, I always forget about shopping at B&N for anything but books, BUT, they have a great selection for toys, and learning things for kids!! (and adults too) I love the ease of B&N, its an obviously large store that is well marked, and has many associates there to help. My kids love everything in the kids section, and we can all get lost in here for hours. I def plan to make B&N a much more frequented business! read more

The vibe in here at night is kinda dismal , I was followed around by one of the managers and she asked me multiple times while shopping if I'm still doing alright ... I started looking through the collectibles and made my way to the graphic novel section , picked out three books and then went to the vinyl section she followed me into there as well and insisted on giving me a basket, when I didn't want one. I felt bothered by her, and she put off the vibe as if I was doing something wrong, anyway I decided to put one of the books back and she insisted on putting the book back for me, I felt rushed to make my selections, and I felt unwelcome by her. When I got to the line it was backed up, and one register was running out of the 5-6 they have in the checkout line. I placed my basket down and I left. More than likely won't return. read more

I love this Barnes and noble! Been going here since I was in 5th grade for all my friendly book needs. Cons: It's just the chubby girl with pink hair working at the cafe.....Jesus, can't even make a Starbucks Double shot. We spent 5 minutes trying to explain to her what it was, and even had to look up a picture of what it was. We left with an iced latte, mostly milk. It's Pretty sad, for that cafe at least. Pros: it's nice and quiet at the cafe area because she makes the least amount of convo as she can with anybody in line. Smile more, lady! Your hair is pretty, but nobody is gonna say that if you're not nice to customers. read more

This location is the absolute WORST location in all of Texas. Their service sucks; their cashiers are uneducated in how to do their jobs, and their assistant store manager, Sandra, is the biggest you know what I've ever met. Customer service is OBVIOUSLY at the bottom of their list of important things. I'd rather go out of my way to another location and not have to deal with their utter ridiculousness. read more

I love this Barnes and Noble. I went to get the sequel 50 Shades of Grey book (50 Shades Darker) and also a couple reading and writing books for my son during summer vacation. They had a huge selection of children's learning activity books, the only downfall was it wasn't near the children's section it was in the middle of the store, so I got a little lost in there and had to ask for help about where to find them. My son was in his own world with excitement and I let him pick out whatever books he wanted. I love that they have a Starbucks too. Always a plus in my book ;) read more

Yep, I love this little book haven. They have a nice set up with a Starbucks inside. Free Wi-Fi and tons of reading material. How can you go wrong? Sometimes, you can find good deals. After my experience here, I remember why I'm such a fan of Amazon. I only ever go to a bookstore these days for a book reading, a speciality book, and to support small (and rare) independently owned bookstores. However, I really needed a cookbook, one from a specific author. I was hoping to puck it up and head to get the ingredients after work. Sadly, I didn't see any self-help computers to narrow down where to find it (Powell's Bookstore in Portland, OR is what I was hoping for). Unfortunately I didn't see any in the front half of the store. I decided to wait at the customer service desk for someone to show up. When she did, I specifically told her the author and that there were two books by her with a very similar name if you don't pay attention. She tells me to look in XYZ. Well I did. She pointed me to the 'other' book. By then she was speaking with a different customer. As I was waiting for her to finish, another employee walks by right next to me and puts a book on the counter and walks away. Maybe he was doing something, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. But at least acknowledge me. It really only seemed like he was fixing shelves tho. Not exactly a priority. My SO and I tried to find it ourselves for a few before going back to the desk. When the woman returned, she seemed impatient and annoyed. Unfortunately the book was misplaced and we walked out empty handed. Thanks to Amazon prime, I can have the book to me in 2 days for cheaper than BN. And in the meantime search for a few recipes online. (what I should have done in the first place) read more

It's ridiculous that in this day and age they can't pricematch their own online prices. They try to get you on the hook for a $25 membership... yet I can order their book online for pickup for the online price, but if I'm at the store I have to wait 45 minutes for them to process the order. A great selection of books for my interests! Other book stores only have a few and are out of date compared with B&N keeping Physics books up to date! The smell of book stores are nice and if you need a snack or a coffee there is a Starbucks available along with a GameStop if you need some gaming action. Surprisingly they have a nice selection of vinyl from some of my favorite bands and quite a few cd's too choose from! I will be going back again for sure! read more

Tried to go into Barnes and Noble to buy gifts for my family. Line up about 50 people long for some goofy Harry Potter thing. They won't let normal people in the store. Said I would have to wait for this crowd to get in in order to shop. Why would you do that during regular hours on a Friday in Christmas shopping season. Now you know why Amazon is eating your lunch.
