Each room is packed with wall to wall and floor to ceiling books, but they also have several reading rooms with comfy chairs and couches and even a coffee table and checkers and chess sets sitting out. This place is a great throwback for me when used book stores used to be everywhere. I'm glad to discover they still exist in the hidden niches of small towns. The next day we took a trip into town to the best bike shop in Carlisle PA, maybe America. It's COLES BIKE REPAIR Shop. It has been a family business for many decades. It wasn't too promising that they would have what we needed, but low and behold they had everything we needed to get our bikes back on the road. Karen and Kevin siblings (our guardian angels on earth) that were raised in the shop were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They gave us some advice on what we needed and prices were extremely reasonable and fair. The silver lining of our trip.
