This book shop looked clean and new when I visited this past Saturday. The place wasn't too crowded, even during black friday weekend, but I did notice lots of dogs inside with their owners. Though it's the smallest B&N store I've ever been to, it still seemed to offer a little bit of everything... well, almost everything (they don't have a cafe here like at other B&N stores, and seating is extremely minimal). And when I say "little bit", that's not an exaggeration. The selection is limited in each category and genre, for instance Humor is squeezed into the shelves with Travel. The kids section is definitely a cozy space. And the collection of unique gifts and non-book items is not as extensive as the offerings at its other locations. That being said, B&N is still one of my favorite book store chains. And I was glad to find a good variety of board games available as well as themed puzzles on display (in a totally different part of the shop from the game section) including The World of Jane Austen, The World of Charles Dickens, The World of Frankenstein, and numerous jigsaw artwork containing bunnies! I didn't find much in the store that fit my needs on this day, but I did end up purchasing an adorable greeting card with a creative rabbit design by Bug Art. Service was standard at the front registers with no unreasonable waits.

Yay, Los Gatos has a new Barnes & Noble! It's in the space ehere Williams Sonoma used to be. Not a large bookstore but a great selection including a small stash of vinyl albums, cds, & movies. Safly, I walked the whole store & didnt see any magazines nor newspapers but if you want a book they probably have it

Nice new store in Los Gatos that has a large selection. Great place for games, toys books and more.

I am so excited there is now a Barnes & Noble in my hometown! I was almost giddy at the store because of the combination of new smell and the smell of books. The staff was wonderful. Please come and spend your money here. The only thing missing is a coffee shop.

I stopped by on a Tuesday evening, and it wasn't overly busy. I meandered through the aisles and was blown away by the genres/styles/options. Whether you love mystery or memoirs or illustrated novels or fiction, there is a book for you at Recycle Bookstore. What's more, since they sell used books, there are so many options at an extremely affordable price. I was able to pick up a Spanish vocabulary book for less than $5! The service was unremarkable, which is exactly what I want from a bookstore. I was able to slowly check out all the books without any rush/pressure. There was so much cute merch in the store as well, ranging from tote bags to stickers. If you're looking for a book to read or even some fun souvenirs, check this spot out!

In an age where everything is ordered online and endlessly scrolled through on a phone app, this bookstore reminds me how important physical bookstores are to a community, right alongside public libraries. I love being able to wander the aisles, glance at titles, read the backs of books and discover staff picks or unexpected finds. There's something grounding about picking up a book, flipping through the pages, and deciding if it's coming home with you. Because it's a used bookstore, the deals are great, and you'll often find items that are harder to track down online or cost much more elsewhere. As someone who collects out-of-print graphic novels, especially indie titles from publishers like Image Comics, finding older first printings at reasonable prices makes every visit worthwhile. The shop has a cozy, welcoming vibe, and the staff is genuinely pleasant and knowledgeable. I truly appreciate this place and what it represents. It's always worth stopping in and supporting a local bookstore like this.

Friends of the Library groups are usually at every library in the Bay Area. They're kind people who volunteer their time to help sell books and fund local libraries. The workers here are all volunteers, so they're not getting paid they're there to support their community. Big props to all of them. Super friendly staff with a great collection of classic and new comics…read more The walls are covered with a mix of comics and posters. It was like visiting a museum dedicated to the comics of my childhood. Well, to be honest, some of the comics on display came out before I was born, which feels like a million years ago. Prices were clearly marked on the classic collection on the walls. It was fun looking at the old comic cover art and compare it to the contemporary artsy covers. A fun visit. I will definitely be coming back.

And they take good care of what they have. SELECTION: I was impressed that they had CGC slabs in a whole section. Autographed comics had a section. Variant cover by artist in another section. And TONS of great back issues. I would've arranged the new books so it's easier to see but I imagine the majority of their customers are pull service. Still I love the selection of back issues. SERVICE: Friendly, nice and helpful. Definitely good quality service. And they care about your books. Well kept. COST: You could find it cheaper on eBay but then you run the risk of damage and lower quality books since grading is so subjective. Here you MIGHT pay a little more but they are price competitive and you can pick it out without paying shipping. I would come here instead.
