Besides books, they offer toys, games, and fun gift items, as well as author's readings and other literary events. I was there recently searching for something good to read in the adult section. The adult books include fiction, biography, cookbooks, sci-fi and fantasy, and more. I found several books that looked interesting and settled on a new one by Lily King called Heart the Lover. I don't know anything about it, but enjoyed her last book. I also bought myself a cute canvas shopping bag with cats and a book club theme. I keep thinking about a couple of the books I left behind. I'm pretty sure I'll be back soon to pick them up.

I saw a line to get in the store and thought staff were just holding people because they'd reached…read morecapacity. Not wanting to wait in line, I keep walking through the mall. I ended up having some extra time after circling the mall before my dining reservation and went to join the line. The employee was a bit rude when asking the people in line if they were there to build or shop. (There was nothing to indicate that there was an ongoing event, so I didn't know what they were talking about.) After going inside, I saw they had stations set for people to build a race car. I ended up going back outside and waiting to participate in the build event. It would've been nice to have been provided some info about what was going on this day. Sometimes Lego stores have a sale area, but everything was full price at this location when I visited. However, after the initial rudeness, the employee was friendly when I asked if I could also build and provided him with my LEGO membership info. He sent me to a station to get set up with my LEGO pieces, and the staff inside were very nice! I had a great time building my race car and am glad I had the chance to participate in the fun event.

I stumbled upon this place when I did a search for certain Barbies, and was so excited to see this store carried a lot of them, and it was not too far from me! What was even more exciting is not only do they carry Barbies, they carry so many other dolls and toys from my childhood! Gasp! At first I contacted them via email to have them hold the Barbies I wanted to buy because a couple of them are in high demand and I knew by the time I got there they would be gone. The owner was super gracious to hold them for me and even double checked with me when some other folks had inquired about them to make sure I still wanted them. Walking into the store, I could hardly contain myself and I'm not even joking. I bought the Barbies that I wanted and even found another one, and I cannot wait to go back and peruse. Check out the website as they have a lot of their items on the site but be advised if you are local, you should go into the shop because there's more on the shelves that are not on the website. First character appearance issues. You name it and they probably got it. They have back issue bins galore too. Like, so many. I have a friend who supports new board game creators on Kickstarter so a few I was familiar with but so many weren't! I'm not a collector but I enjoy the pops. The staff are attentive and helpful. I was able to find a couple I like and bought them. I took a picture of the place and shared it to my family.
