TEN STARS!!! I have had to use process servers about 100+ times in my professional life (civil litigation). I never thought I would need one for a personal matter! I even had a PI trying to track down the Person I wanted to serve who went AWOL. When the Person had been sighted, I immediately called Barnes (recommended by a friend) and left a message. Got a call-back within TWO minutes, and a voicemail while they were finishing another job. We talked, I emailed my documents, sent electronic payment, Barnes printed them out at a FedEx on the way to the location...Alas, no luck! GAH! BUT then Barnes asked me for a possible alternative location where they waited, and waited, and then BAM!!! YOU GOT SERVED!!! Also got a photo of the person and their vehicle (over and above!!!) and sent me the Proof of Service that evening so I could file it with the Court next day. And all at an amazingly reasonable price - I wasn't even charged extra for printing costs or waiting at the new location! I had a shockingly great experience here: I called at 9 PM on a Thursday to get expedited process service in Cupertino, CA. I sent my documents over by email and the very next day, at 8:20 AM, I had already received both a message AND photos documenting that the service address was completely vacant. Not only that, the server followed up and found the business's main office nearby, and confirmed (with attached photos!) that the receptionist there had no idea about the alleged employee that I was attempting to serve. This is incredibly proactive work, and it's been incredibly helpful in my small claims process. Would HIGHLY recommend. read more

I filled 2 small claims against Xfinity and Wells Fargo respectively recently. I need to find a professional to serve the defendants court notice. These companies have legal agents in Sacramento. So court documents needed to be served to these agents in Sacramento. I called Barnes Legal Processing and explained my needs. The gentleman said he can do for $125. So I emailed his copies of the paperwork. He responded with an invoice and I paid. Next day he sent me a copy of a page of the document with his signature indicating that he mailed the documents to defendants. I brought that to court and the clerk said the service is invalid. Only court can serve by mail. So I let the court re-do the service and court only charged $15 per service. This legal firm cheated. They wasted my time and money. They are dishonest. Please stay away from them!!! read more

We transferred the conversation to text and quickly set a time/date for him to travel to my home for a notary signing. He texted me the day of to let me know ETA.
