He asked for relevant information over email and gave us fully detailed overview of the process including what he services he could and could not provide (e.g. he couldn't represent us in court, but he could file deed and get it recorded) My wife and I both are working people and needed a lot of flexibility. Both of us would need to go sign the paperwork and have it notarized. Rob offered to get into his office at 7:30am just to accommodate us even though his office building itself doesn't open till 9. When we went there he was ready with all the paperwork and he went over everything in detail. We even made a check that was slightly higher amount by mistake (including credit card surcharge) and Rob pointed out that the amount should be lower! They agreed to dismiss a suit upon settlement, but after paying them in full, they still haven't done so. In fact, I paid them off more than 10 days early, yet a week later, the case still shows as active in the superior court web portal. Every document they've agreed to produce has been like a dental extraction to actually get the document from them. They are liars, cheats, and scoundrels. Unfortunately, they obviously don't care what end customers say about them, because we aren't their target audience. The only things we can effectively do are: 1. Complain to the appropriate authorities. In California, that's the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau: https://www.consumerfinance.gov/ and the California Attorney General (if you believe they violated the law): https://oag.ca.gov/ 2. Waste as much of their time, especially their attorneys if possible (cost them as much money) as you can in the process of dealing with your case. 3. Low ball your agreements with them and negotiate as aggressively as you possibly can. Make sure they get as little money as you can possibly give them while making the process as expensive for them as you possibly can. It's all about the economics. The less they collect and the more they spend collecting it, the less effective they appear to their actual customers and the sooner we can put sleaze bags like this out of business.

Krystin's refusal to cooperate, listen, or defer to the party who actually understands the case was completely unprofessional. I will not be using this service again and strongly advise others to seek out a more reliable and respectful provider.
