These guys are rock stars!!!!!…read more Started off with a problem with my 2019 F150 with transmission bucking between shifts and on the highway. Did numerous internet searches and found that it is a major problem over different models that have that same transmission. Not covered by warranty of course. Made numerous attempts to schedule service at Greenway Ford for transmission issues. Last contact with Greenway Ford they stated they would have to keep my truck for 3 to 4 weeks for transmission repair. Online there are thousands of people that are having issues with their F1 50s and other vehicles that have the Ford 10 speed. The service rep that I spoke to said they are just so backed up with transmission issues. It is taking a long time for them to get Parts and enough techs to work on them. It is unfortunate that Ford realizes there is a problem with the 10 speeds, but will not honor faulty engineering on their part. I looked online and found Sam's shop. They had some good reviews so I called Sam. I spoke with him briefly on the phone told him the issues I was having with my truck and he explained that they have done a number of vehicles that have the same transmission issue. I went into his shop on Monday. He explained everything in detail he quoted the exact price and said that if I would leave the truck he could have it done by Thursday. This morning early Thursday I received a call that my truck was done. These guys have set the new standard for customer service and transparency. They replaced the transmission with brand new Ford 10 speed they purchased through Ford. They completed all the necessary computer updates and even did some other work I asked for last minute. would recommend them highly not only because they are good people, but they do excellent work. Throughout the week they kept me up-to-date on the arrival of Parts and sent me numerous pictures of the ongoing repair. 3 years warranty documentation was provided with my receipt thru Ford. These guys are awesome and they have some amazing techs that work for them. If you have any vehicle issues, give these guys a call first and visit their shop if you have the opportunity. Sam has an amazing network and if they can't fix it, he will refer somebody that can To Sam and his whole crew. Thank you again for all your hard work and showing that there still are some awesome shops that get people back on the road with no drama. My family member owns a 96 Dodge Ram 1500 previously experiencing shifting issues that were concerning, especially because it is the only vehicle used to go to errands and doctor's appointments. Another mechanic even suggested it may be time to replace the transmission or upgrade our vehicle after a road test. After several frantic phone calls, my family member was referred to Sam's Wholesale Automotive. While I was unable to visit them in person, my family member took our 96 Dodge Ram 1500 for a diagnostic scan. I learned through prior experience that not every shop is willing to work on older vehicles, but thankfully the age was not a deterrent. They were able to hook it up to an older scanner they had available, and it was determined that the solenoid was defective. They replaced the solenoid, and since then our vehicle has not experienced any shifting issues. My mom was so thrilled with the entire experience, and is no longer worried about getting to and from appointments. Everyone was so kind, caring, and honest. It was much cheaper than rebuilding the transmission or buying another vehicle, and they made sure my mother (who is a senior) was treated with fairness and not taken advantage of. It is such a relief to now have a place we can go to for tranny work that is trustworthy. Thank you so much to Sam and all of the employees for helping us out during a time of need! I highly recommend this place and will happily refer them to anyone seeking transmission repair.
