5 Stars for a great experience at a moment of stress (#flattire). Someone waved my over on the road to let me know that I was driving with a flat tire and upon further inspection, it was clear this tire was not going to get away with a quick patch. Tires Plus was the closest spot with the best reviews on Yelp, so I headed over and I'm so glad I did. Robert was at the counter and immediately made me feel at ease. As a diminutive gal, I'm used to being treated like a gullible idiot at car places. And, to be fair, I am pretty gullible and know nothing about cars. But Robert was really genuine and was leveling with me about pricing and options, not pushing the expensive options. I let him know my partner, who knows more about tires and cars, was on his way and when he arrived, Robert repeated the info he gave me (sometimes the story changes when I bring a dude into a car shop). I really appreciated that he wasn't giving me any bs. In the end, we ended up replacing my 7 year old tires with a full set and they were great at communicating when it was ready for pick-up. I brought my car here Friday to get a tire patched. Guy with the beard told me there was a wait. I waited about an hour but got the tire patch. I called back because the tire was still leaking. They told me to bring it in Monday morning. I brought the car and the guy with the beard told me to wait again. Seemed to care less. I called and made an appointment for my car and they still made me wait. I arrived 10:15 or so, my car sat out there till 10:40 and they finally took it in. This was inconvenient to have to wait in the lobby cause i wasn't feeling well at all._ They don't offer you water or anything. I was feeling hot so i walked across the street to get water. I hope my tire is fixed this time. The wife was not happy with me. I took the car home and the tire immediately went down. The last thing the bearded man said was that the patch might not work, so you'll have to buy a tire. I specifically asked for a patch of the inside of the tire. I took the tire to my original tire place and they patched it with no problem. They told me it looks like the hole was made bigger and that the tire had been plugged. The reason i asked for the patch instead of a plug, my tires are run flats. Run flats are very difficult to plug. I've had run flats the last six years and most good tire shops will tell you that it is not a good idea to plug them.OMG, I hate to say it but i think tires plus was trying to make me buy a tire that I did not need . I bought another tire on eBay and im waiting for it. Just in case the damage to this tire was to severe. I know tires plus needs to sell tires, but it shouldn't be at the expense of the customers. This was a waist of 30 dollars, and it only cost me 10 dollars to get it fixed properly. Lesson1 l, never plug a run flat tire, Lesson 2, don't take it to Tires plus. If you want zero reliability, customer service and helpfulness, COME HERE!! My battery was dead so I had to get a jump and went on over to get a new battery (under warranty). The guy told me he was completely booked. All I needed was for them to check the battery and give me a new one. I even told them I'll put it on myself. The manager had an extreme "solve it yourself" attitude. I had to call customer service over the phone so they could help me figure this out cause I couldn't turn my car off. They talked and the manager still refused to take one of his guys off the job to do a 2 MINUTE battery check so now we're having to drive 20+ minutes to the next nearest Tires Plus. Quick in & out! Was there for just an oil change, called the same day & got in right away. Estimated wait time was right on point so I was very happy to receive what I expected. I also asked if they had any specials going on & received a hefty discount on my service, so that was a great unexpected surprise! When they were done they drove my car to the front and removed a plastic seat cover & paper floor board mat (it was raining). Was looking to get tires on my Jetta, called in and spoke with Paul the store Manager. He helped me decide on which tire I should get after I gave him a few different options I was looking at. I have to say I've never really had good customer service from a tire shop / mechanic before overall , but after coming in here I'll definitely be back the entire staff was very professional and caring towards their customers! I have to be honest I did have an issue with getting the tires in stock and the delivery driver kept calling Paul and saying he'd be another hour . I bought a brand new radiator from advance auto parts with no damages and installed it myself, I noticed my car engine was still overheating so I took it into tires plus and they said it was defective because the radiator was leaking from the front. So I call advance auto parts and tell them about the problem with the radiator and they said they would gladly accept the return and refund me as long as I have the same part and receipt. I had the receipt but while Tires Plus was "working" on my car they had swapped out the brand new radiator with some old beat up one and put it in the box that I had got the new one with. Advance auto parts confirmed that the one Tires Plus put back into the box was not the same part because first, it didn't even have the same serial code, and second, it had a sticker saying it was a radiator from 2016. This place is a scam and robs people who they think don't know anything about mechanics. While they try to act all friendly, as soon as I called them out, they all acted snobby. Especially store manager Ricky Wade. They do nothing but scam people and rob them of their money. I hope you people out there will read this and stop going to this place. I have been a customer of Tires Plus for several years and they have not let me down yet. The mechanics are very friendly, helpful and honest and their prices are incredibly reasonable and offer suggestions for future work without pressuring or up-selling them immediately. A couple of times, they did some quick work on my car without charging me and that was a hook for me. Most recently, I was trying to undo screws from my old car's license plate to put them on my new car and was failing miserably (I, literally spent an hour working on it). I went to Tires Plus and, despite it being busy, they got me in right away. Ricky Wade spent about 10 minutes working on, got the plate off, put the new one on and didn't charge me a dime (the dealership tried to stiff me $20). I needed new tires and called at 2pm on Sunday not knowing they closed at 4. The Manager said bring it in and they will take care of it. Dropped it off, got a great price on tires and warranties. We got our car right after 4:30 and we're very happy with our purchase. Side note this place was SLAMMED on Sunday and the Manager stayed late to fix cars, answer phones and assist with walk ins well after they closed. The only reason I am getting this particular tires plus one star is because I have to. I scheduled a regular oil for my minor son's car. I scheduled the appointment and asked for a regular oil change. When I received a text later on with the invoice, it ended up being a $95 oil change. They decided that my son needed a blended oil change and not a regular one. Then accused my son of not reading the paperwork before he signed it and saying it is his fault and he should've known better, when I spoke to Paul about this, he also stated my son signed the paperwork, knowing that him and I had scheduled a regular oil change on a Toyota Yaris that has less than 19k miles does not need a blended oil change. This is the second time they have tried to get over on us and add more money to our bill or upgrade us on things that we don't need. when I took my car in the last they quoted me $1000 car repair when I took it to a different shop. Surprisingly, I never needed any of what they had quoted me, when I confronted Paul with all this information, he was very defensive and blamed it on me and my son and basically told us not to ever come back to the store again. Why Paul is that because we called you out on you ripping off people in the local area double charging kids that come. I had my son call because he said my son authorized it verbally then he Paul verbally abused my son and told him he should know what he's signing before he signed stuff and this was originally his fault. And don't worry Paul we will never come back and I will make sure anybody I come across will never go to your Tiresplus or any Tiresplus at that matter. You are a rude despicable, self centered individual who takes advantage of children and I hope you're proud of yourself. read more

Discovered a screw in a rear tire so scheduled an appointment at Tires Plus on Aloma. I had to work so my wife took the truck in for me. Tires Plus quickly looked at the tire and diagnosed the problem. The screw was short so it had not punctured the tire and nothing needed to be repaired. We expected to pay for their time and labor but was told there would be no charge. Really? Absolutely. Thank you Tires Plus! My car had a lot of vibration past 35 mph. I took my car since I had recently done a tire rotation, alignment and balance with them. They told me everything was perfect it was something in the suspension. So I take my car to a mechanic and sure enough one of the tires had a huge bubble and was about to blow up on me. Now if they did "check" everything when I took it(especially being a tire place) they would have notice it was my tire! I will never take my car here again. My name is Natashia. Tiresplus is out for their own personal gain. Everytime I would go their (atleast 7 times) they would partially repair something and tear something else up. I would spent atleast 16 dollars sometimes more on the Lyft transportation to go back up their (atleast 7 times). Each time I would go back in their for them to fix the problem they would have a nasty attitude when I would come back in their. They charged me 1100.00 on my Tiresplus card and then turned around and messed up the transmission which was working fine when I got the car. After they litterally maxed out my card they turned the account over to the credit bureau. I'm an IT student and I'm out of a car. If I need to fix someones computer I have to take the Lyft because I can not lug computer equipment around on a bus. They have poor service and a nasty attitude. I spoke with Jimmy over the phone and he was able to squeeze me in the same day to patch my tire up. Although they were not able to fix it because of where it needed to be patched they did put the spare on and had me in and out in a timely manner. Mike D was very helpful with explaining what was wrong and why it had to be replaced not patched. The waiting area was very clean and cool. These guys have great customer service and do not pressure you to spend money. If I have anymore issues I will def.being going back to them first. read more

I've been looking for a good mechanic that does good work for a fair price ever since I've moved to town. After visiting this place, I'm still searching. The techs were very nice and helpful. They diagnosed the issue and clearly explained the work involved. Everything seemed fine. Unfortunately, they also marked up the price of the part needed for repair by 2 to 3 times what it would cost to go down the road and pick it up from the auto part store. I totally understand that there's some shop markup involved, and it does cost something to have the part delivered to the shop or picked up. But 2-3 times the price of retail seems very excessive. Caution to everyone looking to use this shop. Make sure you double check the retail price of parts before you authorize work. They will gouge you. UPDATED: I reached out to social team, since they asked me to send some more information. Information was passed on but nothing ever came of it. So, standing by original post, just beware. read more
