I've been coming to this location exclusively for over 3 years for both of my vehicles. Prior to these recent oil changes I enjoyed taking my car here. I would get a drink or smoothie and they would change my oil and tell me about the condition of my car, I always felt like they did their due diligence. On this occasion I ask the tech if he could let some air out the front driver's side tire as it was a new one and was at 50 while the rest were at 30. He said he did, I told him the sensor still showed that tire filled more still. He again assured me when I drives little it would adjust. It didn't I had to stop and let out the additional air. They showed the engine filter, and oil level as usually and printed out the paper and explained the recommended services and we was out of there. Well a week later I heard this dragging sound when I got off work, arrived home and saw a piece of the bottom of my car dragging. I returned and was made aware that there were bolts missing from the skid plate and that is what was dragging. I did pulled out the invoice and to my surprise it was there. First- why was that not mentioned in the 10min talk about the recommended services. Well now I had to go back to have them secure it. They advised me to call customer service to have them file a claim. Customer service advised that I would get a response in two business days. That was Tuesday- I didn't hear anything so on Saturday I followed up and was advised the store manager had no idea I filed a claim. Now I'm still waiting on an update as to when I can come back to have them replace the skid plate. read more

I visited this Valvoline location on Monday, 12/15/25 around 4:45-5:15 PM for an oil change costing $183.14. During service, I was instructed to start my vehicle while a battery diagnostic device was still connected. My car stalled in the bay, required 4-5 jump attempts, and the first jump source was not strong enough, requiring a different battery jump starter. Shortly after, my battery failed and had to be replaced for over $200. When my mother and I attempted to resolve the issue, the area manager, Mike, raised his voice, spoke over us, and repeatedly dismissed our concerns. He stated that we were "uneducated" and told us we "needed to get our facts straight" if we were going to describe what happened. The interaction felt intimidating and gaslighting, as our firsthand experience was repeatedly denied. Video footage was shown selectively and narrated by management, with no opportunity for independent or neutral review. I was also incorrectly told the battery was purchased from Advance Auto Parts in 2022. I later found my receipt showing it was purchased from Firestone on 12/21/23, it was under two years old, and still under warranty, meaning we were sent to the wrong retailer based on inaccurate information. Mistakes can happen, but the service error, misinformation, and hostile management response were extremely disappointing. horrible experience. My truck was driving perfectly fine when I went in for an oil change. They tried to upsell you on all types of different filters that need to be changed and they have no experience on how to change them correctly when I left my car was not driving properly and my check engine light was on. Being new to the area it can be challenging to know where to get your oil changed from a reliable company. I have found the hidden gem! This place is awesome for oil changes. Friendly, responsive and assertive with moving fast. The folks are trained well and know how to walk you through the oil change process if you are unaware. They do all of this while smiling and enjoying each others company and work! One of the other customers pulled into the stall without supervision and the worker was kind with informing the customer that they need to wait for an employee to guide them in. I came here in a pinch, didn't really have time this week to deal with making an appointment somewhere or scrambling to get my oil changed before a trip I have coming up this week.. so I googled oil changes near me, saw Valvoline which had a $5 coupon so I thought okay, great. WITH my $5 off coupon... it was $42.59 Tire Kingdom is $25, and they have a coupon for $3 off right now. So realistically... that's a whole twenty dollars more expensive here without the coupon. For no reason. I'm so disappointed. The people were really really nice, so I said 3 stars initially.. but honestly this is such a rip off I couldn't bring myself to keep it and changed it to 2. Robbery, to say the least. I quite literally just wasted money coming here and I'm livid. You might ask why I didn't just leave... well that's awkward first of all and second, I was already up in the garage in full blown conversation with the people, not at all expecting to get raked over the coals. Okay, that sounds a little dramatic, but I always put off getting an oil change for as long as possible because anything related to servicing my vehicle is soooo dreadful to me (including getting gas -- bleh). Luckily, I don't do too much driving, but I'm so happy I found a Valvoline near me with this speedy drive-up oil change service, making one of my least favorite tasks semi-bearable. It may cost slightly more than your average oil change, but they always have coupons available online, and there's even a $5 off check-in offer right here on Yelp! In case you can't tell, I'm someone who is pretty much always willing to pay extra for time-saving convenience... (Oops, is my millenial showing?) I love that you can drive right up and don't even have to get out of your car. If there's a line, they'll let you know about how long it will take. The staff is always super friendly and they don't try to upsell you too hard. Of course they'll offer additional services, but you can easily opt out of those. This last time around they let me know that I was due for a new air filter, and they definitely weren't wrong -- that ish was dirty! So I had them replace that in addition to topping off my fluids and putting air in my tires, which is included in the standard oil change service. All in all, I was out of there in about 15 minutes total -- HALLELUJAH! Before going to this location for an oil change I had never done the "drive-up" oil change. Let me tell you... it's amazing. I realize I may be paying a little more for this convenience but I've counted the cost of convenience in so many other areas these days (with grocery delivery services, prepared meals in a box, Uber vs cabs), why not consider if there's a more efficient way to get my oil changed too? Even if it costs a little more, maybe it's worth it to you to be able to drive up, wait in line in your car (if necessary), and get your oil changed in about 10min (max) and be on your way. To me - it's perfect. The people here are not overly friendly, but I don't necessarily need them to be. They're nice enough and they're efficient at their job so they keep things moving and keep you on your way. They all seem to do their job well and know exactly what needs to happen to get people through quickly. I'd suggest, if possible, to get here on a week day, for a much more speedy process. If you can catch them at a time when there's no line, that's ideal! I drove through on a weekend once and there were a few cars ahead of me that I had to wait through. We travelled from FL to NJ. I need the quick oil change so we stop by this location because I heard good reviews about this place. At first, the guys were nice. He explains everything to me. I pick the type of oil change I want then leave him the key and I went inside the waiting room. 15 minutes later when the car is finish, I get out and paid for it. When I get inside the car, my friend's airpod case was dissappeared. ,(She left it inside the car for charging). We checked every corner but still didn't find it. We were cool and scare the people behind us wait for a long time. so we left. That's our false because she left it inside the car. But just be careful. I like this place because the service is quick and the price is affordable. I think the oil os very good too. But I don't go to this location anymore tho. Because it was expensive, but very helpful. --- --- --- I was a bit overdue for an oil change, and since I was going to be across the street getting some work done for several hours, I figured I'd take advantage of multi-tasking, and getting my oil changed here. Unfortunately, my last oil change (done in Tampa) was done poorly, and the Valvoline guys realized that my oil cap was completely missing, once they popped open my hood. It was a huge mess, with oil everywhere, and I had to run off to an Advanced Autoparts to find a replacement cap. But once I took care of that, the Valvoline folks hooked me up with a shiny, new supply of oil. The garage manager, Jonathan is kind and straight forward about what you need done but allows you to to make your decision for yourself and doesn't push you to replace high dollar items like I have had done at other places. Do NOT get your oil change here. I had an oil change performed here slightly over a month ago. A week or two later, the skid plate under my car fell off while I was driving. I had two different technicians assess my vehicle after the fact and both agreed that the cause was that it'd been inadequately attached after the oil change. The store manager at this Valvoline, Jesus, was incredibly accommodating to this issue when I brought it up. However, the regional manager blamed the damage on me and refused to help. This small mistake on the part of the oil change technicians cost me $650. read more

I've been here a couple times before and it's been fine but to make a long story short, today I experienced extortion at this location. Yesterday I came in for an oil change about an hour before closing and was informed that they didn't have the oil filter I needed in stock. I drive a 2015 Volvo V60 and it has an unusual filter, it's not the first time an oil change place hasn't carried it in stock and that's no big deal. I'll say that for the most part, the employees here were super friendly! The girl with short blue hair working there was very nice and told me to go grab two oil filters so that I'd have them on hand for my next couple of oil changes, come back in the morning, and they'd take care of it. We even joked about "what's the point of replacing the oil if you don't replace the filter?" Today I went to the Volvo Store in Winter Park, picked up 2 oil filters for just over $40 total, and came back to Valvoline on Fairbanks. There was no line and the same blue haired girl from yesterday came over to greet me. Great! I thought I'd be in and out in no time! This wasn't the case. The other employees seemed like they really didn't want to be there; one guy joked with me "I don't want to be here, can you give me a ride home? Hahaha" and another guy working there wasn't paying attention while directing a pickup truck into the bay and his side view mirror smashed into a computer screen. Then they all start scrambling around looking for something, screaming at each other, and I'm just sitting, waiting in my car. Twenty minutes goes by and I'm still sitting in my car with no update. One of the guys FINALLY starts pouring oil into my car. Then the boss comes around and hands me my new oil filter in the box telling me that they couldn't find the tool they needed to get the old oil filter out. They filled my car up with oil without replacing a dirty old filter and didn't ask me before doing it! If I wanted the oil changed but not the filter, I could've had that done yesterday when I came in or on my own! The whole reason I bought oil filters and went back there was so that they could replace the filter as well as the oil! The guy in charge told me I owed t hem $150 for the oil change and I refused. They didn't ask me before they replaced the oil and not the filter. Had they asked me, I would have said "no" and been on my way. He plugs in a 40% discount code and says it's the best he can do. He wouldn't let me leave until I paid for it either. I was forced to pay $95.26 for something I did not want and did not agree on. He even agreed with me that this is wrong and should be illegal but he wouldn't let me leave unless I paid for the service I didn't ask for and didn't want. I'm livid and I'll absolutely be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau if I don't get a refund. This is extortion and I wish I had taken a video of this incident. read more

I was concerned that the filter was not tight (I am not a mechanic by any means!!!) Ray called me, set up a time to COME TO ME to check it out. Since I did not feel safe driving it with a possible leak. He was respectful of my lack of knowledge and took the time to explain everything to me. got there just before they open @ 8am for an oil change. the two employees were sitting in the car then decided to stroll in to the shop. While I was parked in front of the bay they were giving me dirty looks and shaking their heads like how dare this guy show up at 755am. I've been coming to this Valvoline for years. They are honest, show you why and what they're doing and do quality work. They will also offer you discounts on services even if you don't have a coupon, which is great! If they are unable to perform a certain service, they will refer you to a shop that can and also offer to schedule an appointment for you at said shop. Furthermore, if your tires are in need of air, go to any Valvoline and they will inflate your tires free of charge. I often feel uneasy at auto mechanic shops since I am very unfamiliar with all this car-related, but this Valvoline puts me at ease and doesn't make me feel like an idiot for not knowing anything about auto mechanics. Plus, they've educated me on several aspects of my car and given me many helpful hints. I'll continue to get my car serviced here for many years to come! read more

Got a groupon for this location. Have never had a problem in the past but this time they couldn't bring up the groupon. The manager, Anthony, was completely rude and unprofessional. Shouldn't be a manger in my opinion. The assistant Manager Kareem was very polite and was trying to help get it rectified. I really thought Kareem should be the one in charge - he was much more customer service oriented.
