I was called at 1:44p by the tech, who obviously didn't read or get the note, and asked if he could come sooner. I explained that I worked until 4p and wanted him to come after I got off work. He said okay and that he would do so. He called me again at 3:23p and told me he was 30 minutes away and heading my way. He showed up at 3:40p... 17 minutes later. I was very upset over his lack of consideration and respect for my wishes for him to show up after I got off work at 4p. The previous time I had a tech out they were an hour late and didn't bother to call and let me know they were running late and so I wasted most of my day waiting on him, then had to leave for an appointment. He said they were short staffed and apologized. I asked for him to reschedule and he talked me into just doing the outside and returning another time to do the inside. Again, lack of consideration and respect for the customer. I let it slide and didn't report it to the office, but did tell him to please be considerate next time and let the customer know if he will be later than the quoted time. But with my experience with the tech on 08-04-2023, it is evident the staff just don't care what the customer wants or how their work (or lack there of) affects the customer's day. So I decided to cancel my subscription and will go to a company with better customer service. I spoke with a woman in the office on the phone this past Friday to report the tech and she was not the most pleasant or understanding. I proceeded to ask to have my services canceled, to which she went ahead without even asking why. I then told her I wanted to file a complaint, she seemed annoyed by this, and I told her about the last two techs and the inconvenience they caused. She couldn't care less and appeared to, out of obligation, agree that the tech's actions were wrong and she would send a message to their supervisor and have the supervisor (Tom/Todd??) call me to follow up. I've yet to receive a call back. Again, no one seems to care. I was, however, reminded that I would have to pay $57 for this month since the tech came out and sprayed the outside of my home, even though it wasn't when I wanted him to and I, for the second time, couldn't have the inside of my home sprayed because the tech didn't come when he was supposed to. Great way to keep customers! Very disappointed and seems customer satisfaction and support is NOT a priority to Orkin. Fortunately, there are lots of other companies to choose from and I can go elsewhere. No, I would not recommend Orkin to anyone. The bugs mostly stayed out of the home, that's the only positive, but other companies can offer the same results.

I got stuff off of Amazon that got rid of a lot of the ants in one day. 4. If there are mice in your attic, skip paying them 20 k. I priced out the same services for 3 k which included adding more insulation than orkin was stating that he'd provide in the 20 k quote 5. Save money and time and go elsewhere!

This definitely made it easy to talk to him and made the service feel personal. I had originally called because I woke up to my cat eating a mouse! I freaked out and called Scherzinger. They were prompt in their response and their pricing was super reasonable!! Barack came out to my home and did a thorough inspection. He didn't find any evidence of nesting mice (thank goodness!) , but did find areas of where it could have entered. He also handled my kitchen ant problem! I was able to take his recommendations for improvements - filling gaps in my crawl space and trimming my tree in the front yard - and succeeded in preventing more from entering my home. All done in a timely manner from first contact to clean up. Also he noticed that the wire screen over my furnace vent was broken and replaced it at no charge. Very pleased with the service. He also gave us a nice military discount which we appreciated and so was very reasonable compared to another company that I had called first.

We had a growing Yellowjacket nest attached to the window of our chicken coop. Needless to say it…read morewas a little worrisome due to our 7 hens living inside the coop and run!
