Alina is the owner of this incredible salon. She is the lady that does my Microblading and permanent make up eyeliner lips blush on the cheeks. She has done Waxing for me scar touchups, and the latest thing she did was a goji mask with a facial that was outstanding. My face looked completely transformed. Unfortunately I had my eyebrows done here. While Antonio did a great job laser removing old pigment, a numbing process should've been employed. After healing I was assured I would get the brows I provided pictures of but instead rec'd the very thick masculine uneven and unmapped brows for a higher price than I heard others quoted who came in when I was there. Too thick, wrong color. I went back as there was a large bald spot and was charged for fixing her mistake. I would recommend going anywhere else. It appears anyone can take a 3 day class and call themselves a "master artist." A very expensive mistake. Let my review save you from making the same one. read more

If you've been wanting to do microblading and were always afraid, here is your sign- go for it! I, like many of you, was afraid to do it for a while. I didn't want huge pointy ugly eyebrows and was researching for years before I finally decided to do it. Alina did a great job and I'm still very happy with my eyebrows! Do not believe the bad reviews on here-Alina will listen to your concerns and will never overdo it. Even though in the beginning right after the procedure your brows may look slightly thicker, do not worry and just give it some time to heal, they are gonna fade after a week or so. I had my brows done by Alina and I left in tears. She drew them on and I expressed concern about shape and size immediately. She told me the boxes were merely guidelines. That they would not be that thick and that they shrink. She also assured me the color would not be as dark as it looked. Before starting I could not have been more clear about what I wanted and my expectations and she either didn't understand me or didn't care. I sat up when complete and immediately regretted it. She called her husband in and he took to defending her and was very abrasive. I brought in pictures of my brows and what I expected and she did not come close to what I asked for. They were crooked and the shapes did not match. My friend went later that day and saw her husband and had the same experience but he was more "rough" so she had more pain then I did. We both went to Instagram to see our pictures and they were posted with a filter from a more flattering angle. I paid in full for two sessions and they refused to refund the second. I paid another $250 to go somewhere else to have it removed and it was the most painful experience. I still have scars. I wanted it to be what I expected and I thought by paying a fair amount I was buying quality. Buyer beware! I fully expect and abrasive reply from her "charming" husband. read more

I bought a Groupon for eyebrow microblading with Antonio. He was meticulous, friendly, and spent a good amount of time finding the correct shape for my face anatomy. I am happy with the shape but my concern how the ink is blotching into the skin. After a couple months the ink began to bleed into the skin and looks blotchy and not like "hairstrokes" as microblading is supposed to imitate. Not only is the ink blotting but it is still really dark. My initial session was in May and I had a follow up about 4-6 weeks after. I didn't want to leave a review until I gave my eyebrows enough time to heal but it's not looking good. I contacted Antonio with the hopes of having him look at my eyebrows and he told me he would get back to me but never did. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. HORRIBLE WORK AND TERRIBLE RESULTS. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL* I came to Baroque Beauty Salon on July 20th 2018. Alina was my artist. First she over charged me by $200 so I paid $850 instead of $650. Then during the process she did not numb me first so the process hurt so bad I was crying. By the time she applied the numbing cream it was too late and my eyebrows were burning. Then she did not ask me about my shape. She just drew it and did it without consulting me. After she was done my eyebrows were crooked. One was long with no arch and the other was short with an arch. I told her they arent even. And she said it would be fixed at my next session. When I paid she asked me to pay as much as I could in cash. That sent off an alarm in my head because she wanted cash more than credit cards. And I myself am a business owner so i know the only reason you ask for cash is to hide what you are making to the IRS for taxes. I paid $500 on my credit card and $350 in cash. Fast forward to now my eyebrows are not healing correctly so I call and her husband is the one I talk to. Over the course of several phone calls back and forth and text messages. I am told that alina is upset that I am upset that she screwed up my eyebrows. Excuse me. I am the client. Not only is she refusing to fix my eyebrows the husband said all he is willing to do is refund me $200. No that is not ok. I did not agree to pay $850 to have Alina screw up my eyebrows that bad. I plan to take this Salon to the better business bureau and file a complaint. So learn from my mistakes. Do not go here for any services. I plan to tell everyone in the industry I know to not come here. Horrible mistake. One I regret. Do not pay with cash either. Pay everything on your credit card as proof. read more

I honestly HATE my eyebrows. I got my eyebrows microbladed by Alina a few months back and was not only disappointed in the outcome of the service, but also in Alina herself. She completely ignored me when discussing not only the shape, but also the thickness. When she originally drew the outline, I said no, they look way to thick and she assured me the the strokes go inside the lines and the pencil lines thickness gives the illusion of a thicker brow, plus, she said, the lines shrink afterwards and your brows will end up even thinner. Also, I told her I wanted more of an arch, she told me all of that could be corrected in the touchup. I left the first time horrified!! My eyebrows were thick and straight across, no shape what-so-ever. The color does fade, they do look a little thinner, I think maybe after she adds an arch they'll look better. Go in for the touch up, she essentially just goes over what she did the first time, which then leaves me with even thicker brows. When asked to give them a little more shape, she said she couldn't!! THIS LADY's JOB IS TO SHAPE EYEBROWS AND SHE CANT!! I was then instructed that if I wanted a little more arch or whatever I could use makeup!! THE POINT OF MICROBLADING IS TO NOT HAVE TO USE MAKEUP!! So I was left with two thick straight lines (that are uneven, might I add) that I have to correct with concealer and brow gel. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE!! Nothing ruins a girl more then bad eyebrows and I am unfortunately stuck with the bad ones Alina gave me for a while. As per the owners response: I've seen plenty of "horizontal" eyebrows that have an arch to them. It is your job to make the customer happy, they are literally paying you to do so. If you have a problem giving the client what they asked for/want, you tell them you cannot do it. You do not accept their money and do your own thing. That goes for any industry. If it is not what I requested, it is wrong. It does not matter what you like or how you feel. That is up to the discretion of the person receiving the services and who has to live with the results themselves. Of course as the person who performed the service, you are going to say they were perfect and so on. read more

I have always been interested in getting my eyebrows microbladed. I stumbled upon Baroque Beauty Center on Groupon and decided to give it a try. I was honestly so nervous because microblading is basically a temporary tattoo and I didn't want to be walking around with eyebrows that didn't suit me. I had Antonio take care of me and my worries about microblading. He had some of his work featured on his Instagram page and screenshot some pictures that I liked and showed those to him. I had an idea of a shape that I preferred and he helped perfect it by using my facial features to ensure that my eyebrows would be aligned properly. He definitely took his time and was able to implement the look that I wanted by collaborating with me. I'll be honest with you the procedure itself was quite painful, but I acknowledged the fact that Antonio was working efficiently. The actual procedure itself probably took less than an hour...which I'm glad it did because microblading is no joke if you're not too fond of pain.
