Soooooooo, through a series of tweezing to the max, and the thin brows of the 90s, my brows were eternally in the struggle. Dont get me wrong, my brow game is the stuff of legends (lol) but I want to actually wake up and GO and not spend the time with dipbrow pomade and a steady hand and brow brush! I've gotten many recommendations for microblading and after careful consideration, I chose Benaiah Poindexter at Scalp Aesthetics Summerlin. I liked her pricing, her responsiveness and, honestly, the fact that her shop wasn't located in the backroom of a nail salon! Plus, I even loved that her service includes the 30-day touchup, which is necessary, and I think all microbladers should include that. Although I had to keep reminding myself that "beauty is pain" throughout the microblading process, Benaiah explained that numbing my brows would cause my skin's surface to thicken and I could scar if they were numbed. I came in for my consult nervous, because I had never heard of scalp micropigmentation before, but I wanted to see if she could help me with my density issue. I've been contemplating getting my brows microbladed for about 2 years now but I was so worried that they wouldn't look natural and my husband would make fun of me.
