I made an appointment for my son. I put in the notes that he wanted a kids side fade. We showed up…read moreon time and we were taken back to the chair four or five minutes after our appointment time - no biggie. The stylist, Jenny, asked what we're looking for today and I show her a picture of inspiration that my son specifically picked out. She looked at it and said oh that would take about an hour and a half (whaaat?!!) but I can get close to it. 13 MINUTES LATER, pictures attached will show what we walked out with. I still tipped her 20% because I've been in the industry but I walked away completely disappointed and it was an absolute dumpster fire. I've never been so disappointed in a haircut and to pay $35 plus a 7 dollar tip? It appeared she had no interest in doing a kids haircut even though my son is well mannered and listened to her instructions. It was not all that busy in the barbershop (that should have been a red flag since it was the day before school started) so I'm not sure what the point is of making an appointment just to sit down and say oh we don't have time for that. On top of me adding notes into the note section when making the appointment of what we were looking for. If you couldn't do it or if it was just going to be sloppy results, be upfront. Communication goes a long ways! My son was in tears as school was the next day and it looked nothing like we had requested. I will note Jenny offered to take more off the sides but at this point, I didn't want her to mess up my son's hair anymore than it already was and I had lost all faith at this point. We ended up going to Floyd's that same night and Keina squeezed us in - THEY WERE PACKED! We were out the door from Floyd's in less than 20 or 30 minutes and she was able to fix Jenny's disaster as best as she could and my son was ecstatic. I will note I reached out to Matt Medina (the reply contact after making an appointment online) through email multiple times to try to rectify this and make it right before jumping right to a poor review. There was no response.
