Min is my barber at Novo, she's fantastic, and very friendly. The place is easy to find and clean.

I made an appointment for my son. I put in the notes that he wanted a kids side fade. We showed up on time and we were taken back to the chair four or five minutes after our appointment time - no biggie. The stylist, Jenny, asked what we're looking for today and I show her a picture of inspiration that my son specifically picked out. She looked at it and said oh that would take about an hour and a half (whaaat?!!) but I can get close to it. 13 MINUTES LATER, pictures attached will show what we walked out with. I still tipped her 20% because I've been in the industry but I walked away completely disappointed and it was an absolute dumpster fire. I've never been so disappointed in a haircut and to pay $35 plus a 7 dollar tip? It appeared she had no interest in doing a kids haircut even though my son is well mannered and listened to her instructions. It was not all that busy in the barbershop (that should have been a red flag since it was the day before school started) so I'm not sure what the point is of making an appointment just to sit down and say oh we don't have time for that. On top of me adding notes into the note section when making the appointment of what we were looking for. If you couldn't do it or if it was just going to be sloppy results, be upfront. Communication goes a long ways! My son was in tears as school was the next day and it looked nothing like we had requested. I will note Jenny offered to take more off the sides but at this point, I didn't want her to mess up my son's hair anymore than it already was and I had lost all faith at this point. We ended up going to Floyd's that same night and Keina squeezed us in - THEY WERE PACKED! We were out the door from Floyd's in less than 20 or 30 minutes and she was able to fix Jenny's disaster as best as she could and my son was ecstatic. I will note I reached out to Matt Medina (the reply contact after making an appointment online) through email multiple times to try to rectify this and make it right before jumping right to a poor review. There was no response. read more

I hate to write this, I was just in for a haircut and I have been going to novo for almost 2 years, and this is by far the worst haircut I have ever received I asked for a fade and an inch of the top of my hair and I she proceeded to cut almost 3 inches off and not give me a fade if you are looking for a barber and a shorter haircut I would not recommend novo read more

Janine has done an amazing job on my beard trim since I moved here last year. Attention to detail, excellent service. I am sure they have plenty more excellent employees, never seen anyone there unhappy, but once I find someone that can do do the job correctly I will keep coming back until I move too far away. She is worth the wait if she is booked, btw, your hair ain't going anywhere until you get here Looking sharp for 2 or more interviews this week and digging it. read more

Took my almost 2 year old here for his first "real" haircut and it went great! Oscar was kind, efficient, and thorough. He took the time to blend everything really well at the end. My son got a sucker to distract him during the cut which helped. Next time we'll try the clippers, he did it all with scissors this time which is probably more time consuming. read more

My son, who is 3, had a haircut with Ashlyn yesterday. She was incredibly patient and kind with my son. In addition to having the sweetest demeanor with him, she gave him a fantastic cut. I gave her a couple picture references and she replicated the request perfectly. He went from looking like Stuart from Mad TV, to a handsome little gentleman. I highly recommend her, but also the establishment as it was clean, timely and everyone in there had great attitudes. This was a far cry from their competitors who were rude and unprofessional. We will be going back and requesting her for future kids cuts from her. read more

My hair is a little funky because I don't act my age and her profile said she likes funky so I booked with her. Erica is very attentive to what I wanted. I've had this style for a couple years so I'm pretty particular and she followed my requests perfectly. She's easy to talk to got me done in about an hour. Nice people but they are not really certified barbers. They don't know how to do beards (to be gender neutral: or women's beards ). In all cases, if it's a basic cut you're looking for then that may work, otherwise, you'll have to teach them how to do your beard fade and the teaching timeline is loooong. Hair is similar. Would not be my first choice for a repeat but again nice people who try hard. read more

Without question the best cut and experience I have ever had! I travel for work and have been to a wide variety of barbers around the county and Novo Barbers is in its own league. The space is soooo clean and bright making for a comfortable and professional space. Each Barbers station was meticulously kept and everyone was extremely friendly. My cut way exactly what I was looking for and a huge bonus was the shampoo after my cut, meaning I don't have to drive home with hair trimmings making a mess.
