Mikey's deli also carries quite a few gringo items like pickles, pasta sauces, mayo (without lime!), cats ups and mustards. Something's are a bit more, but this is a nice, clean convenient one stop suits all shopping experience. BTW, when you exit be sure too grab a fresh cut up coconut from the vendor 2 doors down!

Service was attentive and quick and even though we stayed past closing, we never felt rushed at all. The overall quality of the food and service really impressed me. You can go for BREAKFAST, BRUNCH, LUNCH or DINNER, everything is available all day long, so you don't have to rush to take a delicious breakfast with an oatmeal plate, omelettes or eggs prepared, "chilaquiles light", fruit cocktails and more. The variety of juices, smoothies, frappés & coffee is very good... They have also a protein menu where you select the type of drink and protein that you prefer: organic, natural or whey!! (Power UP shake + protein is perfect). Try paninis if you feel hungry, with a veggie soup or ask for the COMBOS where you can have a salad, panini or soup & a natural fruit water, only from 5 - 6 USD each!!! It's a nice option to have here, but it's not really all that great. Boyfriend has a smoothie and it was fine, but they forgot to put in the protein powder so they had to go back and mix it in. I got a juice and it...tasted healthy. Also, the guava seeds were super hard and I didn't realize that I could swallow them so I just merrily spit them out as I walked down the road. Mostly it was just pretty slow though. I guess the lesson here is that they prep all the juicing fruit as it's ordered. So this place is a reasonable option for something healthy if you just want to sit and recover from eating too much. read more

Updating my review because the service has just gotten worse. The food is so so good and fresh, but the service is soooo awful. I come here almost every day for their delicious salad bar, but the staff is so rude and unfriendly. They clearly do not care about their jobs, and they seem miserable and angry every time. Today I waited almost 15 minutes just to get service to create my salad after paying already. I might stop coming if the service does not improve... the owner is very friendly, I wish the staff could be just as friendly. read more
