As I had a leaking sprinkler system that was flooding our yard I thanked him for his prompt response and said I needed someone sooner and was about to go back to Yelp. He responded about 2 hours later saying he had a cancellation the next day, sent him photos of the leaking sprinkler assembly, he asked a few more questions and then gave me a price. He told me in advance that he could be a few minutes early or late but would keep me in the loop on his arrival time. Jose texted me in the morning, let me know his status and showed up on time. Not only did he fix the sprinkler assembly, he also adjusted the sprinkler heads on my lawn, installed caps on the wire connectors on our assembly and checked all zones to ensure they were working correctly and that there no leaks. You know that someone is a good person when they make you feel like you've been friends for a while or that they could be a neighbor just by how they speak and interact with you. We just purchased a home and the sprinkler system was all out of whack and needed a lot of repairs. He walked us through each and every thing he did. He also installed a timer for our tree sprinklers which had to be manually operated before. Our yard was incredibly uneven and had big holes everywhere from previous gopher issues and possible overwatering/mowing. It was quite dangerous to walk on. They came today and raked a whole trailer of dirt throughout the yard to even everything out and will be reseeding on Monday. It's looking much better already. He helped us decide what type of grass would be best for us as well. We went with bermuda. We have been very happy with everything he has done so far and also use him for our monthly lawn maintenance, which includes periodic sprinkler audits. Once we decide on what trees we would like to add to our yard, we will definitely be calling him to assist with planting them. For our first project with them, we had them put down concrete on a good portion of the yard and it came out GREAT! Loved how the stamped design came out and have received multiple compliments on it. We also really appreciated their attention to detail when it came to grading the entire area and were thankful they suggested our AC condenser unit be elevated to ensure water wouldn't pool around it. It was something we hadn't even thought of and were glad to have brought to our attention. When we were ready to tackle the second portion of our yard, we called up Newline again! This time, we had artificial turf with concrete curbing, DG, and a concrete slab for a future shed put down. The end result is fantastic and we're quite happy with how everything turned out. Their crew for both projects always arrived on time and left the area clean after each work day. I needed his help to get my property ready to be listed on the market. I ended up asking neighbors for help last minute as he failed to show after rescheduling with me. He quoted me Full Landscape Maintenance to include "mowing the lawn, precision edging, blowing off all hard surfaces, and professionally trimming and shaping all of the shrubs shown in the photos. We'll leave the entire landscape clean, neat, and well-groomed with attention to detail to give your property a polished, well-maintained appearance." He even said "I can include pressure washing of the concrete patio at no additional cost as part of the service to leave everything looking clean, fresh, and professionally finished." I also booked him to help me replace irrigation heads. When we came back to the house I was so sure he wasn't done but he was nowhere to be found. Weeds were left, I had to ask him to cut them down. Trash was left, I asked him to remove and that never happened. Concrete patio was never pressure washed, mulch was never swept up, debris on the concrete was never blown off. He had dug up a few irrigation heads to attempt to replace, since the heads weren't broken he didn't replace, but he also didn't fill in the hole and instead there was mud all over the concrete into the sidewalk. He had apologized and reassured me he will be back to fix his mistakes which I genuinely appreciated. Given our work history, I sent out payment in good faith. Surprise surprise, he didn't show up, then he rescheduled again! Alas he never showed and of course never responded. Incomplete work, non responsive, not a man of his word. Do not hire him. If you do end up needing his work, do not pay on Zelle, Venmo, Cashapp. Pay on your credit card because you will end up disputing the charges for incomplete work.

Grading was only partially completed, and paver installation never started. To make matters worse, materials I purchased for the project were removed from my property without permission. One was returned only after I confronted Alexander. Work was defective, incomplete, and unprofessional. I do not recommend this company and advise homeowners to get everything in writing and carefully track materials and payments.
