The sandwiches take a while to prepare but are well worth it, they're delish. Pricing is very reasonable for the massive quantities of food. This is in rural Princeton MA and has sprawling seating with picnic tables and umbrellas. I would absolutely come back here if in the area again, and highly recommend checking it out!

The entrance to the farm kind of sneaks up on you fast; the whole place appears much smaller on the outside, but once you pull in and get to the gravel parking lot, you realize how much bigger it is inside. There was live outdoor music playing and kids laughing and cheering while playing with the nearby caged animals. This place was a great vibe. We weren't particularly hungry so I can't comment on the food, but we did take a walk around and paid for a quart box for blueberry picking. This was our first time and we had no idea what we were doing, but soon enough we filled up our little box very nicely. I recommend you bring some Off or some kind of bug spray if you're anything like me and bugs love buzzing around your ears. Inside the one of the barns was their stores and I picked up a bag of caramel puff corn and a delicious Apple Cider slushie. Everyone was very friendly. Overall we had a very good time here, and I hope to come back on an empty stomach so that I can try out some of their cider donuts.

I had to drive through petersham in my travels- not a typical route or regular drive but alas I actually passed this store, noticing the OPEN flag , I slammed a U turn to get a sharply needed caffeine boost and found myself in the most delightful spot in a seemingly desolate places when I say I walked in the door and it felt like - a waiting room to heaven door opened as a really beautifully laid out l, store, restaurant, local craft gallery and mini grocery market was laid out instantly as I floated in here. I took as many photos as a Middle Aged woman is permitted to take without looking like a fool - see the photos- while I waited for my turkey club sandwich on French (highly recommend) and loved every second of it. Ok so we have wonderful local and specialty wines beer, cheeses , pantry items , extremely micro vendors of local sauces, dressings, drinks and a lot more in the refrigerators and a ton of CUTE and adorable hand made functional art and crafts - including these "blind dates with a book" that instant stole my heart (see pics) and made me want to move down the road from this place. Sandwich was lovely exactly what you'd expect from a cute country store and deli but just elevated - and welcomed very much to my stressed and dulled palette To top off off I had probably the best service ever at the counter - like truly inspired me to have a better day every though I have to say it didn't get much better but I can say with confidence my visit to petersham country store was the highlight of my day and I cannot wait to come back and bring a friend for a relaxing morning of books, shopping and coffee here . I will give them credit: they did not skimp on the veggies! However, there was not a whole lot of hummus or avocado so it kind of just tasted like eating veggies on a piece of baguette. A very good piece of baguette, to be fair, but I just wish there had been a little more flavor. The deli itself is very cute with lots of imported Italian foods, like unique pastas and sauces. I always am leery of saran wrapped cookies that are out on display because its impossible to know if there are actually fresh. The giant stacks of cookies were too enticing to pass up on. The chocolate cookie we purchased was definitely not fresh at all. $3.29 down the tubes - lesson on saran wrapped cookies learned (again). Carrot cake whoopie pie and original whoopie pie - both tasty, but the cake was too thick for my personal liking. We sat in the small outdoor seating area to eat. This was a nice little reprieve from the car ride.
