Emily was a wonderful instructor, very patient and detailed when explaining the background of the class and expectations. Boy, I was so wrong! By my second week, I felt tone on areas that I never knew existed. My back is toner Yaaaaas. This week, I was sweating after one class and by the second class, my body was so sore. It's that good feel sore, ya know, that you knew you had a good workout sore. The ladies/trainers are wonderful! I'm not sure how they remember everyone names, but they are good at it. They are very helpful and make sure you're doing your forms right. For sure, expect that they'll help you out, some touchy-feely moments, and will give you some worthwhile workouts. Gotta check Bar Method out!

The experience kicked off in the best of ways with a very friendly welcome and tour of the space. I was really impressed by how large their building as in how many rooms and classes they were able to host at the same time. they offer a small shopping area three dressing rooms and several different weights to coordinate with different classes. My particular visit was for the hot stretch class which included intense stretching in a heated room for 30 minutes. It seemed that this was just what my body needed after a few days of spin classes. Note that if you do not have a mat, you can rent theirs for two dollars as well as towels and water bottles. I also appreciated that their first sample class was only eight dollars for new customers. Often times the $20 for a first class at other studios makes it a bit too much when you don't know what you're getting into.

They knew it was my first class, so we got a mini tour of the studio and it is very clean and organized. There are multiple different class times and instructors. I took a 5:30pm class on Monday & it was pretty full, but had lots of energy! All attendees were at different stages of their Pure Barre 'journey', but the instructor was super patient with me and other first-timers! The class itself is high intensity and provides a great workout in a short period of time! (Even though I was sore for 48 hours after the class) Highly recommend!

I booked a class online like two weeks prior, but then forgot which class I had booked. But I remembered what date and time I was supposed to be there, so I showed up and found out that I had booked a heated vinyasa level 2 class! And wouldn't you know it, that day, I was nursing a lil' hangover. Holy hot yoga! I was totally unprepared physically, but mentally I was excited to challenge myself and told myself that if all else fails, there's no shame in taking a child's pose. I ended up having one of the best yogas sessions I've had in a long time, all thanks to my instructor that day, Jill. I have had her for outdoor yoga before, but this was my first time being in one of her studio classes. Jill was the perfect balance of encouragement and gentleness, and she played great music! The heated yoga classes are no joke -- they're pretty intense, but they're also relaxing and allow you to feel more open and flexible. Make sure to bring water and a towel!

This is my place!!!…read more Sho'Time is super welcoming and incredibly energetic. The owner, Sho, is a natural teacher and incredibly fun. After growing up with intense dance instruction at other studios, Sho'Time is a breath of fresh air. There are hip hop, body sculpt, barre, and dance fusion classes- I honestly love all of them. I'm sore after each one! Sho always plays great, new music and is constantly teaching new moves and awesome choreography. The prices are great as well- college students only had to pay $60 for the whole summer this time around! You will love coming here and make some great friends as well. Highly recommend!
