5 Stars for Alba! I…read moretook Alba's group Pilates class last week and wow -- she is truly something special. Her cueing was so clear and intuitive that I finally felt my feet-to-heel connection in a way I've never experienced before. It completely changed how I moved through the exercises and left me feeling grounded, aligned, and so much more aware of my body. Alba has this calm yet confident presence that makes the whole room feel supported. She pays attention to the little details, gives hands-on guidance when needed, and somehow manages to make a group class feel personalized. I walked out feeling longer, stronger, and genuinely inspired. If you're looking for an instructor who knows her craft and helps you tap into those deeper Pilates connections, go to Alba's class. She's amazing.

Anyone who has had a baby knows that it can do a number on your pelvic floor. Not giving away too much detail, I was in great need of some strengthening in my pelvic floor. I have been religious about my time with Studio Flo because I want to ensure I have a strong foundation, especially as I enter menopause. Every single woman, babies or babies, requires special attention to their pelvic floor once menopause hits. In the last several months I have seen a true difference in my function as my previous symptoms have lessen. This is all thanks to the teachers at Studio Flo who have a deep understanding of the human anatomy and what it takes to strengthen from within. They have spent the time correcting my form and going the extra step to explain and show things when I needed the extra help. I cannot recommend Studio Flo enough. It got me back to feeling like myself again. Thank you for providing a studio filled with teachers who have been trained by the best

Through our one-on-one reformer and Pilates chair workouts, Lani meticulously tailored each session to target my needs. Her studio space is clean and relaxing, her expertise and personalized approach in Yoga and Pilates sculpt sessions as well as the incorporation of low-impact cardio on the springboard was always challenging, and I loved the blend of strength training to get the toning and muscular definition I wanted. Adding a touch of magic to my bridal journey, Lani organized a private Yoga and Pilates class for my bachelorette party. It was the perfect blend of fun, relaxing, and bonding with my closest friends, setting the tone for a memorable and meaningful celebration. Her ability to cater to a group while making everyone feel individually supported and included was remarkable. Not only did I walk down the aisle free from back pain and with the toned physique I had dreamed of, but I also carried with me a sense of accomplishment and empowerment. For anyone looking for more than just a workout, but an experience that transforms, Lani is without a doubt the best Yoga and Pilates instructor you could ask for.

There is actually a parking lot at this location, which I did not know, but there was plenty of street parking available. The studio is nice, I like the industrial look. My only complaint is that there's not a lot of light, but it didn't keep me from getting a great workout. Next time, I'll probably try to get one of the machines closer to the window.

This was a reformer 1 class and I realized early into it that with a new teacher I must take the intro classes to get into the groove. For this month staying closer to home to blend in 3 days Pilates + yoga and 3 days gym weights and aerobics and yes my gym now has reformers which I will use for abs and a little stretching, but it can't compare to a class like today. AMAZING TEACHER, so happy I found someone closer for now. I'll be back with Andrew in April, but I like knowing if life gets crazy I have a teacher closer to make it easier not to fall off the Pilates wagon. Now to yoga!!'

Started doing personal training with Natalie S. After one session I feel like a whole new person. She listened to my concerns and my goals and tailored a regimen to my specific needs. Love the Chill Zone - just wish it was included in the membership instead of $20 a session (you do get one free session per month which is nice). The infrared sauna is a great warm down! Grateful for this community and excited to try out more classes. Just wish there were more offerings, the classes I like are only offered once a week.

I chose this gym for the convenient location and easy parking. I'd never done a full walkthrough,…read moreso I popped in one afternoon and was genuinely impressed by the old-school vibe. It felt like a perfect match for someone who appreciates real gym culture over shiny boutique studios. But the longer I trained there, the more the cracks started showing--and they add up fast. The equipment is a mixed bag. The free weights feel satisfyingly heavy (old-world heavy, great for pumps), and I really loved the turf area--it's loaded with punching bags, sleds, aerial bands, kettlebells, Bosu balls, a vibration plate, and more. It's genuinely impressive... when it's not a zoo. People constantly cut across paths or leave equipment scattered everywhere. Lanes or some basic traffic management would make a huge difference. The machines, mostly older Techno Gym and Hoist units, are where things fall apart. Many have off motions, some are missing weight scales entirely so you can't even tell what you're lifting, and the abductor/adductor machine has a weirdly tilted seat that forces awkward positioning and incomplete reps. The locker room was a constant frustration. Way too small for the traffic, with tiny lockers that barely fit a gym bag--forget squeezing in shoes, a phone, or a hat. It's also uncomfortably hot with terrible ventilation, and the black toilets plus lack of any real vanity area made post-workout routines feel like a hassle. Same story with the abysmal shower water pressure. Nothing about the space felt luxurious despite the "low membership, high quality" marketing. The infrared sauna gets plenty hot but is clearly showing its age (the teak creaks like it's begging for maintenance). The cycle studio is actually awesome--super dark and built for intense rides--and the yoga studio with skylights and soft wood floors is cozy. The stretching room has a stretching cage and free percussion guns, but with only one cage and limited space, it quickly turns into a crowded mess. Two reformers are a nice touch, though. The recovery area has real potential: hot bath, cold plunge, red light panel, and Norma-Tec boots. But everything is pay-to-play after the first use (one free recovery session per month, $35 extra after that; InBody scans are $15 each). At my previous luxury club, these were included with your membership. They send a cute monthly newsletter highlighting employee of the month and new equipment, which is a nice touch, but it doesn't hide the feeling that the club is running on limited operating capital. Everything feels a little gimmicky and nickel-and-dimed. I really wanted to love this place for its old-school soul and solid turf setup, but at $199 per month, the headaches and lack of luxury simply aren't worth it. I'll miss the turf training the most, but I won't be renewing. Best avoided unless you're okay with paying premium prices for a dated experience.

All of the staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and they all really make an effort to get to know everyone that attends their classes! THE STAFF/TRAINERS - 10/5 STARS (If I could) So far, I've had two subs and two of the regular staff members! And I love them all! Kristi is amazing, she has such an incredible energy and makes you feel like you have been training with her for years! Her teaching technique is very personal and really enjoys motivating everyone of us! Anel, is also great, but in her own way! She takes the time to adjust, and refine our technique! She is tough, but I love the fact that she's constantly challenging us! THE SPACE - 5 STARS I've only been to one other studio, and while I enjoy their staff, the space itself is okay. On the contrary, the Bankers Hill location is perfect! It is always climate controlled, smells good and is very clean! I addition, they have two spaces within the same building to ensure they are able to provide classes to a wider range of members. They also have tons of space and all of the equipment is kept updated and clean. THE PILATES CRAZE AND OVERALL - 5 STARS When my co-worker first told me about the "Pilates" craze, I didn't know what to expect! But now I do! I have to admit, I too have become obsessed and LOVE Pilates! I have only missed two days, out of 20-days this month! And truth be told, I love it so much, that if my body didn't need rest, I would attend class every single day! And I know that I have Club Pilates Bankers Hill to thank for helping me fall in love! Thanks!!

Club pilates is great if you enjoy Pilates! At this particular location, instructor Jackie is the…read moreworst because of her rude and discriminatory behavior. Instructors are supposed to be patient and all inclusive. A disappointing and a bad hire by club Pilates. You're better off going to a different class than Jackie's. She cannot even figure out that something is wrong with the equipment or accessories (ex: when hand strap is uneven) but keeps pushing you to do it only you later realize that the straps are totally off and uneven putting a lot of pressure on one side. Isn't that what an instructor should be looking for rather than being immaturely discriminatory? I have been to several club Pilates locations and completed many classes but never came across someone as immature, rude, discriminatory as Jackie - she might introduce you to new injuries because she won't be paying attention or listening to your concerns about the equipment being off - so basic for Pilates! Stay away from Jackie's classes!

It's a value added touch that I've seen in other studios out of state and it's so appreciated because of how hot we get after the class. Yoga box in Hillcrest is always clean, organized, and has the most friendly staff. They provide mats and towels (free for first time) and $2 thereafter. The room is heated to around 90 degrees and it feels like a warm hug whilst you are working out. Occasionally, the instructors will open the doors to allow fresh air in during the classes. They have cold filtered water as well as a bathroom inside the studio. They have weights and blocks for you to use depending on what class you're taking. There is free parking, but it's shared with other establishments in the plaza, so make sure to get there early enough to secure your spot.
