On top of that, my vehicle developed a coolant leak immediately after their service that was not there before. When I asked about it, they said they "didn't know what to tell me." Overall, this feels like an incomplete diagnosis and poor accountability. I recommend getting a second opinion before approving repairs here.

Beware of Phil's Auto Repair. In my experience, this shop is dishonest and will overcharge if given…read morethe opportunity. Low ratings exist for a reason. I've gone there several times for alignments. During my last visit, they told me I needed wheel bearings and gave me a written estimate of about $1,300 for parts and labor. I asked if I could supply my own parts, and they said yes, explaining only that they wouldn't be able to warranty customer-supplied parts. I specifically asked what the labor would cost and was told $645. I ordered the parts and, a few months later, called to make sure the labor price was still the same before bringing my car in. They assured me it was. When I arrived with my parts, instead of pulling up my original estimate, the employee created a new estimate with the labor increased by nearly $300. I stopped him and asked him to print my original estimate. He hesitated and only did so after I repeatedly insisted. The manager then came out and claimed the original labor price was only discounted because I was supposedly buying their parts. That explanation made no sense because I had already told them from the beginning that I would be supplying my own parts, and at that time they still quoted me $645 for labor. They never said that price depended on buying their parts. It felt like an excuse made up on the spot to justify charging me almost $900 in labor. To make matters worse, the parts they wanted to sell me were marked up by more than $500. I bought the exact same brand-new parts myself for only $170. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this shop. Make sure you get everything in writing, compare prices, and don't assume they will honor the estimates they give you. After leaving I discovered that they also have complaints with the Better Business Bureau as well

My emblems were put back wrong. The job seemed sloppy and very quickly put together. I can see glue on my paint. My car isn't brand spanking new but I am aware of its scratches and yep there's new scratches, as if they used a flat head to gauge up the old top and in the process scratched the car. At a distance my car looks shinning but up close I can see the imperfections. Now my only regret is that I should have done further shopping around and not had jumped the gun. I can't say you get what you pay for because I did end up paying more than what I was originally quoted for. Not to mention getting called and asked to bring cash when I had already paid a deposit using my credit card. I don't like carrying large amounts of cash with me. What kind of business asks you to just bring cash when they clearly accept credit cards.
